Here's a new thread for all things Toast..

I've made the dullest toast purchase ever this week. In the summer sale i bought a tee shirt in "pebble". Then decided it was unsuitable, too bland, and dyed it (unsuccessfully and its now a pj top) And then bought a cheap bleached white tee from Thought. I've used it for layering and have now decided that is too crisp looking for my style. I've now repurchased a new tee pebble from toast for layering. Stupidest waste and most boring purchase ever!

I'm eBaying a few TOAST things too in the next couple of days to justify buying a new dress. But surely a sale is not too far away?

Still lusting after the cotton cashmere check dress but not sure if it's the length I want.

TOAST Circle coming up so may take a look. A week later in Cheltenham due to Lit Fest.

@TheChattyRat Hi! I tried that dress a few weeks ago and it’s definitely a plummy colour not brown, does this picture help?

Toast have got their Xmas decs out! Makes me wonder if the time is ripe for a kindred gift!

Hello Toasties. I've been a bit quiet in recent times as I have no purchases to report. None at all. Does anyone have any idea when we might be due the next drop? I'm after a new dress.

Now that i see that pic i remember from when you posted before @Saurus72 . I don't think that dress wears you at all, and i think it looks great, but i know the feeling. Did the print seen too bold?

I have a sale purchase on my account history from November last year @MrsCat1, so I'm hopeful!

I see there is a new styling video on 26th so presumably that week.

Can anyone recommend some merino wool base layers? Looking at Finisterre Zephyr but they are pretty expensive. Also looked at this Toast one but not sure I want that high neck - anyone got one?

i have a couple of the Toast easy dresses which I’m planning to resurrect for winter with a base layer underneath. Also very tempted to try the new one as it has really good reviews and I love the pattern!

@Snowyowl78 am delurking to recommend merino silk base layers from mama owl.
They gave lots of lovely things. Quite expensive, but lovely. Here

ooh, I'm itching to do a bit of toast shopping. Suddenly I've become quite certain that all three of the heathery wool sweaters and both of the neat alpaca sweaters would be just the things I need. I don't need them and won't scratch the itch but it is funny.

@dudsville me too! I have just ordered some of the wool tencel high necks to try out. Sometimes struggle with a high neck so we shall see!

Also on those tees I have just noticed the description of ‘elongated arms’. Sounds weird.

Which tees are those with the elongated arms description@Snowyowl78 ?

@dudsville these ones, sleeves rather than arms I meant. I really do not need elongated sleeves. I hope it’s not getting to the stage where I have to take up Toast sleeves as well as the trousers!! Spend a fortune this year having hems taken up.

Hello fellow toasties, not been on here fir a while as have been on hols and busy with work. I've made a start on my Toast inspired jumper, nearly have the front finished. I found the sweater on Vinted for £4.00, so will be a very inexpensive up-cycle job. Colours are to match my mineral blue cords. I'm looking forward to a Toast sale and hopefully a new drop soon.

@Laska2Meryls thank you, I felt if I make a mess it's only £4! I'm enjoying doing it.

I had a really interesting time in London on Friday. First stop was Uniqlo, I wasn't looking for anything particular but had a good look round and I found this pair of cords which are not too dis-similar to the Gabi cord trousers but a much more reasonable £19.90! I have posted a picture of the brown ones, I got the navy ones, there were also cream coloured ones.

And then, talking of Tencel high neck fine wool jumpers, I went into Cos, which had a wide variety of colours and I bought this emerald green one which I thought would look fabulous under jumpers, pinafores and dresses! They are still quite pricey at £45, but much more reasonable than the £79 ones on Toast.

We had a good look in Toast, but I didn't buy anything because I am now waiting for the next drop in a couple of weeks to see if there are any other jumpers coming.

@AFingerofFudge sounds like a good trip! Had a look at those Cos ones but the neck is a bit too high for me. Will report back on the Toast ones when they arrive!
