I've never been much cop at putting outfits together. What would go with these?

60s white boots were leather - and gorgeous. My mother had a pair of patent footed summer boots - a sort of net/lacy legging. Both sorts worked well with hotpants, mini skirts/dresses, especially Quant.

White wellies just don't work. Wellies are for mucky stuff and white wellies don't need mud.

I think this looks quite nice, I do have a shirt + waistcoat combo somewhere in the wardrobe 🤔

They're not the exact pair I have just very similar. I couldn't find a picture of mine on the site so used a similar picture. They're like a faux leather.

Just had a little Google and a bright coloured jumper dress. All black. Either way a short skirt.

White, cream and neutral boots in this style are everywhere in the high street this autumn/winter.
I think they are easier to style when they aren't quite so long but there will be loads of styling ideas on insta before long.

My fashion loving DD20 has almost this exact pair.
She wore them all last autumn/winter.
I never would have chosen them and admit to raising a sceptical eyebrow when she first showed them to me, but they look absolutely amazing on!
She wore them with pleated minis, jumper dresses, pinafore dresses and tights or leggings and long shirt/sweater combos - so yes quite a 60s vibe but more modern so not like fancy dress.
They are very practical too and with a bit of care still like new ready for this season (I know because she came home from uni this week to collect them and was so excited to wear them again)

OP don’t send them back if you like them! They are all over insta at the moment I think they work best with bare legs so a jumper dress, shirt mini dress, skirt and top or even tailored shorts jumper and a blazer.

I think you have stolen them off this lady who looks like she’s just in her socks and overshoes, and you should give them back.

I saw someone wearing these the other day - short patterned mini, pale jumper, shorter open coat, all in pale pinks and creams. Fairly heavy make-up. She looked very striking, in a good way.

Please keep them and wear them! I love seeing people in clothes and shoes that are different to my boring choices. I couldn't wear them, just not me but I guarantee I'd walk past you and admire your style.
