Best bra for small breasts

Hi! I'm only a 34a - boohoo!! I usually just wear lightly padded t-shirt style bras..I'd love to wear something a bit sexier or something that will give me a cleavage! Anyone recommend any bras that are good for small bust?

Pricey but worth it! Really comfortable and creates a nice shape. I’ve got two.

Is your band size definitely a 34? You might be something like a 30DD.

For sexy, lacy bralettes are what you should be living in! Tk Maxx or Primark for a save. For a splurge, look at Fenty x savage, Empress Mimi or even handmade bralettes on Etsy.

I'd been told (M&S) that I was 36A . Measured by an independent shop they said I was a 28E or 30DD! The difference in shape is amazing.

I'm also a fan of M&S Rosie (in the right size!) and also like Freya and Fantaisie.

I got re-measured in John Lewis and was way different than the M&S. they said I was a 36A but JL called it different and they right, made a massive difference to the bras I wore a and how they look.

Anyway Wacoal is my favourite brand, if you are near a JL they stock them I think. But go try some different brands on.

I went from a 36A to a 34 DD when re measured. I certainly don't look or feel as think a DD should look or feel but my bras do fit better now!

I have teeny boobs so I doubt the sizing is wrong but I'm tempted to get measured just to see! Thanks x

I have tiny tiny boobs. Seriously, I wore 34A for 20 years (after M&S told me that was my size) and didn’t always fill that depending on the bra. I was moaning to my friend who used to work in a high-end shop and she said she’d put money on me wearing the wrong size. I laughed in her face but did the online measuring thing and got 32C. I didn’t believe it until I tried some on and the difference was amazing! You have to remember that cup size depends on band size so a 32C and a 36C will have very different sized cups. I now wear this bra in a 32C and actually look like I’ve got a bit of chest!

I actually have Tony boobs and boob or bust put me at a 30d but honestly they didn't fit so I went back to my old 32bs.

Now I live in bralettes

Mine too. I went to an independent bra shop wearing a 32B, after wearing 34A for years, and discovered that the Wacoal 32D is the right size. I was utterly gobsmacked. There is one style they do that actually gives me a bit of a cleavage!

Same here. Measured years ago in M and S as a 36A. Now wear a 34C and the fit is perfect. I second M and S Rosie; fantastic cut and shape. I now have four. And I need to go in and try a 34D as some of them are cut on the skimpy side. They look great though, would highly recommend. I bought the first one as they reminded me of many bras I saw while living in Paris, where many women are in the skinny, flat chested side!

The first thing to do is measure around your rib cage directly under your breasts.
This will tell you your back size.

Measure yourself. 34a is an odd size.

Same here. Multiple fittings at M&S put me in either a 32aa or a 34aa, even though the cups were too close together, I didn’t fill them and the band was riding up my back . I was told, ‘well that’s the smallest we do, so may be a crop top would be better’. Was measured in John Lewis when I was asking for particular sizes and the assistant said that she thought it might be the wrong size. I’m actually a 30c, sometimes a 30d. I have very small breasts, but the band size makes all the difference. No one would look at me and say I had c/d cup breasts, but they fit really well and are so much more comfortable. Definitely get checked anywhere but M&S!

In answer to your original question though, my first well fitting and comfortable bra was one from Calvin Kelvin range. Very soft and comfortable, but gave me more uplift and had a bit more to it than the T-shirt bras I’d been wearing before that.

I was a 32B before I had my DD. Not a clue what I am now. I thought I was a 34A as my back seems a little wider but was measured in Victoria's Secret as a 30C. Anyway I've given up and for the past 3/4 years have just worn padded wireless bralettes (LauraAshley) from TK Maxx. Not really great for cleavage but so comfy. I just can't do underwire anymore.

Oh dying to see what back size you get OP! Boux Avenue is good for small sizes, I also doubt you are a 34A tbh. Also agree with bralettes, Im a size 8 or 10 dress size and a 30 back, D sometimes DD cup and im NOT boobalicious lol

You will be! Always wear them on the loosest hook, and they will feel tight at first. If they still feel too tight pick a sister size - 32C.

I'm now dying to go and try on some bras 🤣 I can't imagine dropping down a back size though as sometimes 34s can feel tight? X

Remeber though that the cup volume contributes to the overall room available. Don't forget when you try them on, bend forward at the waist and scoop everything you can get from your armpits round to the front to go into the cup.

34s will feel tight because the cups are too small which pushes your boobs into the band. 30D sounds about right. 30DD might be worth a try too. Bravissimo start at D cup sizes and they'll help you with styles to suit your shape too.

The other method is ok but I can't breathe if I follow their rules! I've kind of split the difference so you may find going for a 32 the best bet!
