Money no object.

I'm a bit bored and just thought of this.

What would you buy if money was no object? What do you lust after? I mean really no object, like you'd won £180 million on euro billions or something.

I reckon there are probably many objects, brands etc I've never heard of as they've not for the likes of me. Grin

I'd try not to buy too much STUFF. It's just a millstone around your neck in the end

SuffolkBargeWoman · 07/08/2022 18:14

Clothes made to fit me, so I don't have to try to fit what's available in the shops.
Sleeves that are long enough.
Waists that aren't up under my boobs.
Trousers that fit my waist and my bum.

Yeah that's kind of my thinking. To have excellent items not tons of crap

I think I would hire someone to sort me out, tbh. Probably made to measure. I might need to start with a year at a 'fat farm' to sort myself out first. And by fat farm I mean probably the most expensive spa in the universe in South East Asia or somewhere nice and warm.

Deathraystare · 07/08/2022 18:54

@SuffolkBargeWoman

Oh Yes! Clothes made to fit you (and me) indeed! In decent fabric as well!!!

Oh and for me also Dior Lipsticks!

Blackdiame · 07/08/2022 18:54

A years worth of custom made bras so I could wear a different one every day.

Baldieheid · 07/08/2022 18:59

Oh god, yes to custom fit bras. What a luxury!!!!

Speedweed · 07/08/2022 19:21

I'd hire someone to do everything grooming/styling-related for me - find people to come to my house for hair appointments, nails etc, at times that suited me. Style my clothes into a capsule wardrobe as I don't like lots of stuff. Get them tailored to fit me perfectly. Get them specially made if they weren't in a colour or fabric I liked. Hire someone to clean and maintain everything. This would all take place in my dressing room, and my clothes would be laid out every night for me.

I'd also have someone in to blow dry my hair every day.

Personal trainer, obvs. And a chef so I never had to think about what to cook as it would all be healthy and freshly prepared. And as I gradually lost weight, my style person would get everything altered/replaced. I would never walk round the shops again. Bliss!

GettingStuffed · 07/08/2022 19:23

Bras from Rigby and Peller, made to measure ones

KittyCatsby · 07/08/2022 19:27

Surgery first :
Full body lift.
Upper eyelid surgery.
Then professional make up lessons including advice on products to buy.
Get my colours done
Put myself in front of personal shopper for full new wardrobe.

LondonSouth28 · 07/08/2022 19:32

Yep I'd hit a surgeon and get eye lift, boob lift, some lipo my skin lasered to the consistency of my 4 year old's and id hire a 'glam squad' - hair stylist, make up artist and stylist. And they'd work just for me... - money is no object, right?!!!

DinosaursEatMan · 07/08/2022 19:38

Custom-made shoes. I have awkward shaped feet and really struggle with finding anything.

AdelaideRo · 07/08/2022 19:40

Give up work.
move to the place I’ve always wanted to live.
have PT 2x / week.
I think the rest would fall into place with the basics sorted….

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 07/08/2022 19:42

I'd have a whole bunch of cotton dresses made for me - cap sleeves, fitted waist, full skirt, in a variety of prints and with a variety of necklines. Also some silk trousers and tops in a couple of styles.

I'd buy a whole load of Dermalogica skincare and a Chanel jacket.

Ivgotasecretcanyoukeepit · 07/08/2022 19:45

A Hermes Kelly Picnic. I just can’t justify the cost of it unless I had a infinite supply of cash.

mumda · 07/08/2022 20:18

I'd start with a really good Chinese meal. Delivered.
Then pick which five houses I'd view first.

FatAgainItsLettuceTime · 07/08/2022 20:27

A month in a luxury health spa to get me started on eating properly and exercising and being pampered.

Then hire in house PT, chef, masseuse.

Initially rent a luxury villa somewhere warm with a swimming pool and gym while i search for the right house with those things included.

Once my body is in better shape I'd hire a stylist to buy me a new wardrobe, and decide how my hair should be done.

Ballcactus · 07/08/2022 20:31

Hmmmm, I’d start with a house. Nothing too huge but generous enough that kids could be loud and I wouldn’t hear them unless I wanted to, cleaners, chef, spa in the house with regular massage.
then I’d have a personal trainer, a mixture of a really fun dance, boxing and weights.
wardrobe wise, loads of really comfy but stylish shoes and trainers, walls of them. Simple and flattering clothes. I’d also have a giant sex room, like a boudoir- something off how to build a sex room on Netflix

butterflyfox · 07/08/2022 20:36

I think about this ALOT. A really nice house in the country with pool tennis court croquet lawn etc and enough bedrooms to have great weekend houseparties. Guest house in the garden for my aged parents. A flat in London really central so I can go to town a few days a week to run my charitable foundation. Lots of staff to cook clean dress me train me beautifully. Tutors for the children so I don’t have to pretend I understand how to multiply fractions. Maybe a chateau in the Loire or Tuscany for August. And a ski chalet in Zermatt.

This is Style and Beauty, folks. I don't think the OP is asking about your new house/giving up work etc, as exciting as they might be.

butterflyfox · 07/08/2022 20:40

Whoops. Sorry.

Yep I'll go here for a month please.

True but it's fun to read anyway.

I'd love to have really fabulous knickers, Grin, fabulous coat, beautiful bag and jewellery that was all class and not bling, lots of gorgeous room scents. Plus I wonder what the most expensive perfume is?

Ooh and a walk in wardrobe with someone to iron and put away all my clothes 😬

OP posts:
tobee · 07/08/2022 22:06

Oh not clothes but really top quality bed linen.

Fun topic! Style and beauty wise, I’d have a walk in wardrobe with a large lit dressing table. Chanel Les Exclusifs. Dior lipsticks. HANDBAGS. I’d stick to my black dress based capsule wardrobe, but won’t shy away from things that need dry cleaning. Everything will be tailored. Diamond stud earrings.
