What perfume gets you the most compliments? No one ever seems to notice mine, perhaps I'm not putting enough on..

I can see why Molecule 01 gets complimented, it's very striking. I feel like I smell important now I'm wearing it Not quite sure it's me though.

Looking forward to trying the others.

I just walked in the sitting room wearing my Portrait of a Lady sample and my DD scrunched up her nose and shouted What’s that smell in a grossed out way. Definite miss here… I think it’s vile.

Ariana Grande Cloud - DD always smells absolutely gorgeous when she wears this, I might have to pinch a spray.

In my daydreams I imagine myself wafting along like Ava Gardner in her prime, emitting a glorious , velvety scented trail causing grown men to swoon. In reality- I smell rather nice but look like this...

I have the Zara dupe of the D&G, and in the summer I wear it quite a lot and have had a few compliments. I haven't compared it to the original so I think I'll try a tester when I'm out again.

But we are in winter now so I'm on my winter supplies. I blind bought Royal Rose by Juicy Couture. It was a real bargain and my dd loves JC so I was going to give to her. But I kept it as its a more mature JC scent. But this is definitely the one of the moment. So many people have asked me what I'm wearing. And the bonus is that I can smell it too, unlike some that seem to disappear and only others can smell.

I have the Zara dupe for Cloud too. And this smells exactly the same. It's called Cheerful Attitude. I'm not in UK but I assume we get the same Zara scents?

Laboratory perfumes Amber - it smells exactly like Creed Aventus. Always get compliments when wearing it.

That and Britney Fantasy!

I tried Portrait Of A Lady sample today too. Cat came in the bedroom, sniffed her nose in the air and left again.

My samples came through today. Absolutely blown away by Portrait of a lady!!!!! WOW!!! I can see why it has such a big price tag. Molecule 01 was nice too but honestly Portrait of a lady is my new favourite scent now! Scent Samples UK website…. Whoever recommended that earlier I owe you one :-) I tried a Tom Ford Bitter Peach sample too from them, and ladies I have to insist please give it a go you won’t be disappointed (here’s the link)

The time and it's the one perfume everyone asks about. Best of it is it's not expensive!

Portrait of a woman tester today...
Well that's the first time I've ever scrubbed my wrists after putting on a perfume because it's so bad! That said, I am pregnant, so will try it again in 7 months and see how I find it then

Same here, angel. People always said it was lovely.
I love it but since peri started it seems a bit heavy now.

I forgot to finish ordering the molecule so will do that now. I'm not usually a Tom Ford fan but the bitter peach sounds interesting so I'll try that, too.

Some hits and misses with the Portrait of a Lady! I was fortunate I liked it after I blind bought it.

Aromatics Elixir by Clinique. For years and years.

I treated myself to a bottle of Halfetti (never spent even a quarter of that on perfume before) because it's lovely. However, I can't smell it on myself at all and only one person has ever commented on it. I can smell it on my clothes but not on my skin. :(

Well my samples came and on first use Portrait of a Lady smells like my gran, and Molecule 01 is not one I would have chosen if I'd smelt it in the store. The surprise for me was the sample of Creed's Jardin D'Amalfi. Looov it!

Damn, just went on the Creed website and it's sold out in both sizes!!

Christ on a bike! It's £405 for 75ml on John Lewis website and sold out!!!

Without a doubt the most compliments I receive are when I'm wearing Baccarat Rouge 540. I also get compliments when I wear Portrait of a Lady and also Lady Vengeance. I have several perfumes and these are the only 3 that regularly get commented on.
