Everyday knickers help needed please - I usually wear these beauties www.marksandspencer.com/5-pack-cotton-rich-lace-trim-full-briefs/p/clp60437456 but could really do with something similar but “stronger” to hold in my ever-increasing tum. Any suggestions please?

I know what you mean but I swear it must give you a tummy ache to wear restrictive holdy-in knickers all day. Big m&s multipack fan here!

DSGR · 03/08/2022 22:12

I find the M&S freecut shorts are brilliant for this. The high waisted ones. But if you truly want holding in, it has to be control pants!

JanisMoplin · 04/08/2022 11:48

Wirapa on Amazon. Not control but quite supportive

Summerhasbeenandgone · 04/08/2022 11:53

Primark 3 for a fiver pack! Bit more stretch than just a full brief. Also do no vpl ones!

Floralnomad · 04/08/2022 11:58

Carol Hochman does some large pants , they are not control knickers but they seem to have more hold .

whatfreshheck · 04/08/2022 12:00

Asda. Love em

Sainsburys apple catchers
Most comfortable I've found

Mumtumtastic · 04/08/2022 12:11

Hi, I have those Marks ones too (must admit I find the lace panel a bit scratchy and annoying), found a waaay more comfy cotton set from John Lewis and they are my everyday staple now - have a zillion of them! www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-anyday-cotton-full-briefs-pack-of-5/black/p4907648

Mumtumtastic · 04/08/2022 12:15

These one from Marks are a good mix of comfy and supportive around the tummy. I wear when I want more support around the middle and flatter tummmy look with leggings/jeans/ dresses, comfy enough to be worn all day and don’t cut in like other shapewear pants often do:

Primark

MindPalace · 04/08/2022 12:22

M&S flexifit full briefs. They work for me.

StarlightLady · 04/08/2022 12:35

For a little support it depends on what you are wearing. If you are wearing a skirt or a dress the M&S control slip here

www.marksandspencer.com/firm-control-sheer-shaping-full-slip/p/clp60285048

is far more comfy than any pair of control knickers. You can wear your regular knix with it. You also look less bridget like when getting undressed. Don't expect a flattering choice of colours though.

Numbat2022 · 04/08/2022 12:40

Marks Flexifit knickers (whichever shape you prefer, I like the low-rise shorts) are incredibly comfy. They don't suck you in though, you'd need shapewear for that and I couldn't wear that every day.

Numbat2022 · 04/08/2022 12:43

Oh yes, I really like the bodysuit version of what @StarlightLady posted, for wearing under jeans and a clingy top. The poppers are a bit of a hassle but it does give you a nice smooth shape.

britespark1 · 04/08/2022 12:43

Thank you all so much! I’ve got some shopping to do!

Snags now do knickers and they are amazingly comfortable!!

StarlightLady · 04/08/2022 13:06

@Numbat2022 - Last time I wore a body suit, I was deflowered all over again when I went for a wee (poppers). I finished up taking it off in the ladies and wearing nothing underneath, for the rest of the day.

These look really good and comfy, thank you.

Apropos of this thread, anyone have a million knickers? I don't have that many clothes but I seem to be addicted to buying bras and knickers. So few of them are comfy so I keep buying more. Not sexy ones either.

Twigletgirl27 · 04/08/2022 13:14

I second Wirapa. Lovely and high waisted, smoothing but not restrictive. I wear them mainly with dresses.

StarlightLady · 04/08/2022 13:47

@JanisMoplin - Yes I probably have almost a million pairs of knickers. I always buy 2 pairs of matching knix when I but a new bra, and supplement with others. I like a touch of lace and they represent how I live my life; in full colour. There is no white (reminds me of school) or beige (makes me look as if I have a cardboard crotch! 😂) in the drawer.

JanisMoplin · 04/08/2022 14:32

My bras and knix absolutely have to match otherwise I feel itchy. I was thinking if I am ever run over by a bus I will have immaculate underwear:) At the first hint of sagging or loose elastic I throw them out. Not very green I know...

StarlightLady · 04/08/2022 14:40

If I get run over by a bus today, the ambulance crew will be very afraid! No underwear.

JanisMoplin · 04/08/2022 15:00

@StarlightLady :) Always an option.

StarlightLady · 04/08/2022 15:02

Only in warm weather 😂

I’d recommend these too
