Off into town with DH for cinema and some dinner (may as well take advantage of no work tomorrow!). A bit concerned that I'll get too hot but taking my chances in a roll neck jumper.

It's always hard this time if year @Cardigansalltheway it's the typical all seasons in one day.

Just popped into town to get DD a birthday card and spotted a brand-new uniqlo Jacket which I'd only been looking at online yesterday as they are perfect for layering it was £20 which is more than I'd Normally spend in a charity shop but I'm sure I'll get lots of wear from it and it's a good neutral colour.

Day at home today in my pjs,I won’t subject you all to a photo but I can assure you they are very lovely ones from Chelsea Peers 😂)

Today’s the first day I put extra layers on the kiddos when they got out of bed rather than letting them run feral until after breakfast, and the first day I’ve slightly regretted sandals and short sleeves by the end of the day, definitely hitting autumnal weather here!

The other day I branched out and bought some high waisted jeans, which is a first for me (though still sticking with my comfortable jeans-and-shirt combo). They’re so comfy I wore them again today 😂 Interestingly, after the discussion about M&S jeans sizes, these are the first jeans I’ve worn which are my normal size (I’m still one size up in most places) so the odd sizes must be to do with shape rather than size 🤔

Sunny and mild @EllaPaella? Bloomin baltic here — getting very autumnal indeed. Do need to do some work later but relaxing to the Sandman soundtrack at the moment which is rather lovely I have to say. Slip dress from All Saints with my furry Uggs and a poncho thing I got one Christmas which is just so handy to slouch around in.

Its overcast here, and not especially warm. So I’m starting to remember what knitwear I have. I like to think this jumper is quite Sezane-esque.

A pretty chill day at home today so a not v exciting outfit. @happytobemrsg I'm hankering after some Chelsea Peers lounge wear at the moment, would be absolutely perfect for a day like today!

We’re staying at home because of the typhoon, so no outfit to show, but I’ve received my Lipsy loungewear set and thought I’d share a pic.
It’s really comfy, but not slouchy at all which I like. I’d say it looks more expensive than it actually is & stylish enough to wear it to travel (can’t believe in my teenage years I used to think it’s lame to wear tracksuit on a plane).
I’m wearing size 10 here and it fits just right.
I love it so much and the price is very reasonable, so I am thinking of getting another set in a different color.

Regarding Sweaty Betty, I had a look at their website and everything looks absolutely lovely, but unfortunately out of my budget at the moment. Hopefully in the future I’ll have the opportunity to splurge on their gorgeous leggings!

Thanks for all your kind wishes. It is strange to have a quiet house. I hope things are going well for you and your daughter @OublietteBravo . Both my children are about 90 minutes away (in opposite directions obviously!) and bus travel is free if you are under 22 so it can be a university light experience for them if they want it.

@Greyhairwarmheart , yes the quiet is strange isn’t it? DD is virtually silent so it was odd when the others went. Nice they are so close though

@toucaninjapan I love your lounge wear! It looks great and comfy too. I was thinking the other day that I'd like a velour hoodie, I had one many years ago and loved it. After recommending the sweaty Betty Gary yoga pants I thought about getting another pair but reading recent reviews it sounds like they've changed the fabric and the quality has gone downhill - such a shame.

That jacket is a great find @Sickoffamilydrama it will be so useful under other coats when it gets colder. I know what you mean about spending more in a charity shop than usual, I've got a pair of Hobbs boots from charity which I think were £20 and it felt very odd to be spending so much - even though I'd have spent more for a cheaper brand if I was buying new.
