I ordered a new dress from Superdry which arrived today, simple plain black halter neck summer dress with the added bonus of pockets. I love it and am keeping.

I thought I was the only one to attract all biting insects! It turned out to be an allergic rash and is finally settling with strong steroid cream.

DH goes away to stay with DD1 in her new house to do some DIY and meet their new puppy. Thank goodness the heat has diminished as it’s 4 and a half hours drive. And DD and I get to party! Ie eat vegan food and watch You’ve got Mail

We have just returned from baking London to Cornwall in its blazing glory. So it's shorts again. Which I shan't repeat posting yet again!

Aw thanks @FjordFancier, he’s a Spanish Podenco. He was a stray from Lanzarote, and is an absolute star and total Mummy’s Boy - always near me, so he sneaks into shot quite a bit, lol

I thought he was a lurcher!

I’m in the office for the 5th consecutive day. I have a big meeting this afternoon from 13:00-15:00. I’m very grumpy about the timing!

@EllaPaella @faffadoodledo , I say bow (as in ‘bend forward’)-k-gen for Baukjen - don’t like the sound of boak, lol (that means vomit up here in Scotland - not sure about other parts of UK, lol). It’s cooler today, so old faithful Michael Kors harem pants which no one sees as on Zoom all day today, with a top I got in a sale, think it’s Chloe. PurplecatDog is behind me in this shot @Rollerbird - Podenco are same dog family as lurchers and grey hounds, so thin, fast but lazy, and very loveable! I got him from a charity who rescues them in Spain then brings them to homes in Scotland.

J is pronounced as a Y in Dutch. So Rijswijk (there is a branch of the European Patent Office there) is pronounced Ryes-wike

So it’s Yen, not Gen…@OublietteBravo

That's a rubbish time for a long meeting @OublietteBravo , sympathies! Likewise feeling grumpy about having been in back to back online meetings for the last couple of days - thankfully now over so going to try and get my head down to clear the subsequent backlog of work this afternoon.

Those jeans are ace @Cardigansalltheway. And I am amusing myself getting into a discussion about how we all say Baukjen when I haven’t actually bought anything there for ages, lol - feel they have lost their way a bit style-wise (although loving the green credentials).
