If you could only ever buy your makeup products from one brand - which would you choose?

I'm also asking because I want to get the kits which work together hence aren't expensive. I'm a fan of Fenty Beauty and NARs - Glossier coming in there at a close 2nd/3rd. But if you could only ever have one makeup brand?

If it’s skincare and makeup combined, I’m picking Clinique. I use their take the day off balm, toner, spot treatment, DD moisturiser, and chubby sticks for my lips and cheeks. Not deliberate and I’m not quite sure how it happened, but I guess they’re just a brand that I trust!

The only non-Clinique items I use are lashes, brows, serum and spf but I think they do a good spf which is on my list to try after my current one runs out. Also I’ve used their cleanser before, it’s brilliant, but I need to use up my current one before going back to it.

Estee Lauder for the Doublewear.

droopyroses · 17/07/2022 17:30

Clarins all the way, I think it's absolutely glorious.

CandyflossKid · 17/07/2022 17:31

ELF

Mumof3girlsandaboy · 17/07/2022 17:33

Bobbi brown

learieonthewildmoor · 17/07/2022 17:33

Nars
Ilia
Kosas
Ellis Faas if I didn’t find the applicators so hit and miss.
Clinique
Shisheido
Laura Mercier

I'd go for Boots No7, I like both their skincare and makeup.

LadyLolaRuben · 17/07/2022 17:38

Dior, good products that are nice on my skin

OrangeBlossom28 · 17/07/2022 17:40

I would have said Bobbi Brown until I started using NARS makeup.

sittingonacornflake · 17/07/2022 17:52

Trinny

ParasiticMicrowasp · 17/07/2022 17:55

Estée Lauder, for the Doublewear. It's my go-to, workhorse, reliable foundation and I love it.

Bearsan · 17/07/2022 18:03

Jane Iredale I absolutely love the dream tint tinted moisturiser and peaches and cream quad bronzer. Also cruelty free.

SocksAndTheCity · 17/07/2022 18:19

NARS. A few years ago it would have been Benefit but they keep discontinuing everything I like.

Sexnotgender · 17/07/2022 18:20

Probably Chanel. I use their CC cream and bronzer daily so I could work with their other products.

BlueKaftan · 17/07/2022 18:21

Chanel for their lipstick

lexicome · 17/07/2022 18:22

MAC, as they have the perfect foundation for me. I use their blush and lipsticks too and have used their eyebrow products before so it'd be a case of changing to their mascara (currently use Benefit).

DanglingMod · 17/07/2022 18:24

EL for the double wear and mascara.

If I had to go cheaper, Max Factor

hellosunshineagainx · 17/07/2022 18:24

Charlotte Tilbury

WhatIsThisPlease · 17/07/2022 18:26

EL for double wear and skin care products but I'd be bereft about losing my Clinique Lash Power!!

GreeboIsMySpiritAnimal · 17/07/2022 18:26

This is a tough one for me, I'm a bit of make up slut. But if I had to chose, probably no.7. I can only tubing mascara, and there's is a good one.

For skincare I'd rather have Nivea though.

yonce · 17/07/2022 18:27

Charlotte tilbury if for makeup only, it's my favourite.

GreenClock · 17/07/2022 18:27

Charlotte Tilbury for the eye makeup. Great colours, easy application, and durable.

I find foundations much of a muchness - I am using Dior at the moment but I’m not loyal so I’d happily buy Charlotte Tilbury instead. I don’t wear lipstick, just tinted balm, whatever is on offer.

So, Charlotte Tilbury it is!

Good thread.

ilyx · 17/07/2022 18:27

Estée Lauder, but I’m broke so haven’t brought from them in years 😢

jesusmaryjosephandtheweedonkey · 17/07/2022 18:36

Lancôme for both skincare and makeup
