Do the UN clothes budget rules apply to just Meghan or the other royals mentioned upthread too? I've never noticed anyone comment on Maxima or Mary wearing designer gear to the UN and Mary especially loves her brands!

I think she looks polished and really suits the black outfit but like pp have mentioned, maybe her hair is too severe. I think she suits a soft low chignon best.

I think she looked fab! She was there to support Harry and I expect wore black so as not to detract from him. But I agree the outfit in green is nicer!

The Meghan green was one of my favourite looks. I like it in black too!
I suspect that a comparatively cheap UN outfit. Have you seen what Amal Clooney wears?

I like the outfit, it suits her. I agree the hairstyle is a little severe, but she carries it well. Harry could crack a smile though.

Meghan was also pictured later in the day at a restaurant with Harry. She looks great in the trouser suit, very similar to Kate’s Top Gun dress. My only criticism is it looks like it’s pulled up too high at the front, and Harry looks under dressed, he should have scrubbed up a bit more , he’s showing her up!
Also seen with GS, I’m less keen on this. I like the shirt, shoes and bag, but not with the shorts. And not shorts with heels. I had a couple of pairs of tailored shorts very similar about 15 years ago when they were fashionable, but wouldn’t go there again. 🙂

I really like the shirt and shorts but I agree that they don't look good with those spikey high heels.

Shorts with heeels is a definite no from me.

I don't really like any of her outfits BUT I recognise it's just not my style and is obviously hers, and she pulls it off well

I also like how she wears what she wants (the shorts with heels) with little regard to fashion.

I like each of those looks on Meghan. Don't like spiky heels with shorts normally, but I think it works here.

Agree with @dolphinsarentcommon. The tailored shorts and heels are part of her signature style, she wears it well, her legs are amazing.

Those two looks re shorts with heels work much better than the recent one. For some reason it just isn’t something I like, maybe the shorts are more formal than the previous looks. Personally, I would have put a chunkier, lower heel, maybe a wide strapped tan sandal. It’s a dressy shoe with office shorts for me.

I love the colour palette of her shorts look, but there’s a lot of volume in the shorts and the shirt there. I think swamps her a bit.

I like the black jumpsuit she wore to the restaurant - Maxima has worn one very similar. I prefer the jumpsuit version of this look to the dress variant Kate wore, but I prefer Max’s over-arm white band. So it goes Max > Meghan > Kate in my personal “who wore it better?”

Charlene and Albert have been to the Red Cross Ball but her dress looks like something she picked up at Coast. And his ensemble is an odd choice for a formal event 🤔
