Cutex - yes the nail brand- did a blusher way back called Golden. I used it as a bronzer. The most brilliant bronzer. The most perfect colour. Gone. Sad

Coty's Wild Musk fragrance. I think it would do really well if reintroduced and marketed correctly.
It wouldn't need re formulating as it was just great as it was. The most gorgeous scent. I just felt really good in it.
To me a really sexy scent. Other musks don't come close. It was probably the slight vanilla note added.
(I have more expensive taste too honest - my "good, going out " perfume is a Chanel Exclusif or Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien ).

Boots 17 Poncho Pink lipstick was a favourite too. Seems I'm not alone as there is a Facebook page with people pleading for it to be reborn.

Mac's Asian Flower lipstick gone but not forgotten by me.

Harmony wash in / wash out colour shampoos.

What are your beloved, long list products ?

Bourjois blushers and eyeshadows were just fab - including the packaging.

FancyFelix · 29/06/2022 23:43

Body shop passion fruit cleansing gel

AlienatedChildGrown · 29/06/2022 23:56

Mudd mask. Not a typo.

I really miss it. Nothing else works as well, even expensive ones.

It just disappeared one day.

Corn Silk powder, I’ve not found anything that’s close. I’d been using it since my teens and every now and then I’d buy a high end powder only to go back to Boots and buy Corn Silk.

Revlon used to do a body lotion in a big bottle, I think 400 ml and it was fab. I think it’s the only body lotion I ever finished and repurchased.

Estée Lauder used to do a mauve concealer in a sponge tipped applicator. A small amount on the eyelid would neutralise the lid and brighten the area.

Anne French cleansing milk.

<sigh>

I used to use a Boots Natural Collection conditioner for curly hair in the 90s which was amazing but sadly no more. I'm sure it had marshmallow in it (or mentioned on the bottle) but no-one else seems to remember it!

I can smell it right now I remember it!

ChinBristles · 30/06/2022 00:05

Barbara daly compact foundation.

Notmythang · 30/06/2022 00:08

Lancome Flash Bronzer. Only self tan I've ever found that looked like the colour I tan naturally to. Not yellowy or orangey.

Oceanus · 30/06/2022 00:13

MAC powder eyeshadows in a sort of twist pencil.

Loveisnotloving · 30/06/2022 00:33

There was this shine spray for hair in a glass bottle, cannot remember the name but it smelled divine! It was a hairdressers name i think.

Loveisnotloving · 30/06/2022 00:35

Toni and Guy!

DoubleShotEspresso · 30/06/2022 00:47

@CinderellyCinderelly yes that's it! Dr Feelgood! Was a fab product that worked so well, I always thought it was a big seller too?!

@DoubleShotEspresso it was always in the top 5! I loved the smell!

DoubleShotEspresso · 30/06/2022 00:51

M&S Autograph mousse cream foundation in a pot. The best ever shade of porcelain, sheer/glory and lasted forever. I live in hope they'll bring it back or maybe disclose which brand ever made it for them it was genius stuff!

Karmakamelion · 30/06/2022 00:51

Body shop atlas rose. Gorgeous smell and you could layer it up beautifully. Replaced by inspid rose range. Fgs🙄

SiobhanSharpe · 30/06/2022 01:10

Revlon Brighten Up Tighten Up eye cream. Never found anything as good since.

@Enjoyallthewine Everytime I see a thread like this I always think of Aramis New West, why they ever discontinued this I will never understand! It was amazing

I got the perfume parlour version. I missed it so much and it was fabulous to have the smell back. 🥰

neverrested · 30/06/2022 02:40

Benefit big beautiful eyes - the old style one with applicators and only one set of colours. The new one is too big.

Boots natural collection cream blushers. I had a few when they discontinued and only recently ran out.

And as someone mentioned already. The original scented Herbal essences shampoos that remind me of the 90s/early 00s. Especially the pink one. Im sure they did a limited run revival of them a few years ago but then they disappeared again. The ones they make now do not have that lush long lasting smell.

LemonSwan · 30/06/2022 08:16

Omg yes! It was the best. I used black but very upset it’s not here anymore. I still have a few brushes I cleaned and kept but they are run ragged now.

Until recently you could still find it kicking around in a few places as old stock. Last year I asked the boots counter at Christmas. I ask if they have the old original by any chance. Young BA gets BadGal Lash, I say no no the original, remember the one with the nice thick fluffy brush, she exclaims quite angrily it is the original and there’s never been anything else. I looked into her perplexed face and realised for the first time in my life I am getting old 🤣

LemonSwan · 30/06/2022 08:17

PositivityNeeded · 29/06/2022 22:46

Benefit Bad Gal mascara in Plum - perfect for my green eyes and nothing else has ever come close.

Soap and Glory One Night Tanned - made my skin look so good and never orange.

Quote fail above… I am joining you in Bad Gal appreciation

MistyRock · 30/06/2022 08:53

@LemonSwan I remember the original. I've always preferred Roller Lash though.

MistyRock · 30/06/2022 08:55

@LemonSwan have you tried Lancome monsieur big?

NotquitewhatImeant · 30/06/2022 09:18

yes to the original flex, revlon skinlights base and also the whole brand ‘prescriptives’. Miss them all.

CosmopolitanPlease · 29/06/2022 17:26

Benefit Benebalm and Posiebalm for lips. I just cannot find anything like them Sad

Agree with pps about Flex and Vidal Sassoon hair products - the 80s really were the golden days of hair products! I used to love L'Oreal Free Style mousse too.

Oh my goodness, was transported back in time at the Freestyle mousse advert! That stuff was amazing. NO movement of your perfect style!

duvetfan · 30/06/2022 10:32

Prada l'eau ambree perfume. I loved it, I cannot find the words for how much I loved it. It's available in eBay for ridiculous amounts of money that I simply can't afford.😫

LemonSwan · 30/06/2022 11:25

MistyRock · 30/06/2022 08:55

@LemonSwan have you tried Lancome monsieur big?

No I haven’t. I spent a long time trying different nice ones but they are so expensive to buy, try and then sit in the draw I gave up. It must of got to £100s of pounds in the end and as much as I want nice eyelashes I can’t justify that.

In the end I went through drugstore options instead and settled on a Maybelline one and learnt how best to compensate with it.
