Cutex - yes the nail brand- did a blusher way back called Golden. I used it as a bronzer. The most brilliant bronzer. The most perfect colour. Gone. Sad

Coty's Wild Musk fragrance. I think it would do really well if reintroduced and marketed correctly.
It wouldn't need re formulating as it was just great as it was. The most gorgeous scent. I just felt really good in it.
To me a really sexy scent. Other musks don't come close. It was probably the slight vanilla note added.
(I have more expensive taste too honest - my "good, going out " perfume is a Chanel Exclusif or Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien ).

Boots 17 Poncho Pink lipstick was a favourite too. Seems I'm not alone as there is a Facebook page with people pleading for it to be reborn.

Mac's Asian Flower lipstick gone but not forgotten by me.

Harmony wash in / wash out colour shampoos.

What are your beloved, long list products ?

Benefit show offs - little pots of loose eyeshadow - my fave shade was 'lola'. It was a beautiful pinky purple and when it went over black kohl liner on the upper lids, it turned into a gorgeous iridescent blue ❤️

Also the ballerina range at benefit! The smell was amazing!

Oh and I miss their perfumes - maybe baby and B-spot!

I miss working for them!

I had the Ballerina leg glow stuff. In a tin with a puff and a pink creamy cream.

ShirleyJackson · 29/06/2022 22:07

Sainsbury’s Lavender gel cleanser. I’m going back 30 years now, but it saved my skin from the ravages of teenage acne.

msssm · 29/06/2022 22:08

Lancôme Visionnaire 1 minute blur. Made my skin so soft and smooth.

Also Mugler Alien Extraordinaire. My favourite perfume. It's been discontinued and is now only available at inflated prices.

SouthernFashionista · 29/06/2022 22:08

Revlon Outrageous shampoo and conditioner. The most gorgeous fragrance!

Vitapointe hair conditioner.
Tamed frizzy hair better than anything I can find now.

You can still get that in B&M, home bargains etc

peepee123 · 29/06/2022 22:13

Impulse Jeunesse spray, evokes fab 5th form memories
Woodley green apple shampoo
Boots cucumber cleansing lotion and moisturiser (bought it for my teen DDs but it's not the same)
M&S peach talc
Anne French cleanser, totally the best. Found it in Savers recently but gone again. Angry

@CinderellyCinderelly I worked for Benefit too. About 19 years ago!

2006-2009 for me. Brilliant days! Themed uniforms haha! Wonder if they still call the staff 'benebabes'

Oh the allocation too!

msssm · 29/06/2022 22:14

Oh also Pure Natural Beauty spf 15 day cream. An M&S brand.

The most lovely cream. Made my skin feel so soft and moisturised, and had a beautiful lavender scent.

Recently snapped up some of the last of it on eBay.

Dermalogica's Climate Control lip balm, proper Pears soap before they changed the scent, a particular shade of red nail polish by Mac.

Yes to the Pears soap. I still buy it but it's not quite the same.

Body Shop spirit of moonflower edt

You can sometimes get it on eBay but for ridiculous prices!!

Diesel Zero Plus feminine. That was the perfume of my youth. Again on eBay, but I've been stung by fakes before.

Yes I loved Moonflower! They used to sell a bunch of their products in the scent iirc. I know I had a cream and a perfume. Lovely.

Great thread op Brew

I didn't get a uniform, maybe a black apron? I worked there when Dandelion first came out. I was obsessed with it and sold loads on its launch day, maybe even the most in my region!. 😊 It was my favourite job. I loved sorting all the make up out, cleaning the lipsticks and making it look fabulous. Care free great days.

Itsokayimgoodletsgo · 29/06/2022 22:21

Lancome miracle so magic, literally nothing else like it

AmbridgeGirl · 29/06/2022 22:23

Laura Mercier Candle Glow foundation. Not too heavy, great coverage. No idea why they got rid of it.

msssm · 29/06/2022 22:26

ShirleyJackson · 29/06/2022 22:02

Vivienne Westwood Boudoir perfume. I wore it for twenty years, until it was discontinued

I have an unopened bottle, but I don’t know whether to use it or not.

My new motto is don't keep anything for 'best' or special occasions. Just use/wear/enjoy every day!

I'd definitely open it. Go on, you know you want to 😉

VanillaImpulse · 29/06/2022 22:28

Lancome hypnose star mascara. Bought a triple pack from an American airport 3 years ago but last one drying up now. Their new ones just also mr have the lash holding power

Housewife2010 · 29/06/2022 22:30

Bobbi Brown's Ruby Stain lipstick as worn by Carolyn Bessette Kennedy and me.

VanillaImpulse · 29/06/2022 22:34

Pantene clarifying shampoo or this really great St Ives one from the 90s, was blue/green in colour and great for stripping the grease out of my cake. Smelled kind of minty with a flip top pouring lid

Lovetok · 29/06/2022 22:43

VeronicaBeccabunga · 29/06/2022 16:52

Please tell me what's similar! I really liked that one, too.

And I second Revlon Flex....

I was coming on to say this! I still get upset about it now. It was the only item of make up I wore every single day. Made me look more awake and fresher in an instant. Sad times.
a make up assistant in Debenhams suggested using the urban decay eyelid primer after breaking the news to me that lemon aid was discontinued.
i’ve used that ever since but it’s not the same 😓

ChaToilLeam · 29/06/2022 22:44

I miss:
Korres Bitter Almond
Bourjois eyeshadows
YSL lipstick shade number 78 - it was a sheer plum shade and smelt beautiful
Woodleigh Green Apple shampoo
Goya Black Rose and Gardenia (I am old)

HyggeTygge · 29/06/2022 22:45

ShirleyJackson · 29/06/2022 21:59

Marks and Spencer lipstick in Supermodel Smile.

YES! The Rosie for Autograph "lip glossy". I came on here to post that. I never wear lipstick or anything but this was perfect.

PositivityNeeded · 29/06/2022 22:46

Benefit Bad Gal mascara in Plum - perfect for my green eyes and nothing else has ever come close.

Soap and Glory One Night Tanned - made my skin look so good and never orange.

BowlofNothing · 29/06/2022 23:00

@Enjoyallthewine Everytime I see a thread like this I always think of Aramis New West, why they ever discontinued this I will never understand! It was amazing

polkapip · 29/06/2022 23:09

Yes to Revlon Flex and Salon selectives
I miss the urban decay primer in minor sin - gorgeous peachy glittery that's like instant eyeshadow look with zero effort but that's only been gone recently. I need to seek it out or if anyone has any they don't use? I've got a high beam mini that someone mentioned if it's wanted ?

CinderellyCinderelly · 29/06/2022 23:13

Oh and another one..... benefit Jiffy Tan!!

The best waterproof wash on/wash off tan!

SecretVictoria · 29/06/2022 23:26

Revlon Skinlights - not the highlighter, it was like a cross between a foundation and tinted moisturiser and gave perfect coverage.

Benefit Playstix - excellent for make up in a hurry.

Also loved LemonAid.

Bobbi Brown Long Wear cream eyeshadows in the pots - the sticks are rubbish in comparison, not the same range of colours and far less product.
