Cutex - yes the nail brand- did a blusher way back called Golden. I used it as a bronzer. The most brilliant bronzer. The most perfect colour. Gone. Sad

Coty's Wild Musk fragrance. I think it would do really well if reintroduced and marketed correctly.
It wouldn't need re formulating as it was just great as it was. The most gorgeous scent. I just felt really good in it.
To me a really sexy scent. Other musks don't come close. It was probably the slight vanilla note added.
(I have more expensive taste too honest - my "good, going out " perfume is a Chanel Exclusif or Annick Goutal Eau d'Hadrien ).

Boots 17 Poncho Pink lipstick was a favourite too. Seems I'm not alone as there is a Facebook page with people pleading for it to be reborn.

Mac's Asian Flower lipstick gone but not forgotten by me.

Harmony wash in / wash out colour shampoos.

What are your beloved, long list products ?

DiorLight foundation I'm still furious they discontinued this!

Sensiq did a wonderful eye palette I've never found similar to with a brilliant base cream inside.
Ruby & Millie compact foundation, was the most perfect luminous finish , buildable and pale enough for me, in a chrome compact.

The benefit primer in a tin that went on like velvet can't remember the name.

The smudgy eyeliners that glistened instead of glittered by boots 17

The cheek gel in a tube with sponges applicator by boots 17. I miss these today still

DoubleShotEspresso · 29/06/2022 17:00

Oh and the glossy curls L'Oréal volumising hair mousse in a pink/purple can - nothing else does the job this did

dolphinsarentcommon · 29/06/2022 17:04

Estée Lauder water light or whatever it was. Perfect coverage. Perfect colour.

Took me 50+ years to find my perfect foundation and then they discontinued it.

So frustrating isn't it? My budget for these things has significantly dwindled in last couple of years but it's so so annoying when companies do these things with no warning.

Benefit Benebalm and Posiebalm for lips. I just cannot find anything like them Sad

Agree with pps about Flex and Vidal Sassoon hair products - the 80s really were the golden days of hair products! I used to love L'Oreal Free Style mousse too.

Well that shows how often I buy make up - they've discontinued bourjois? Few of those celeb brands have quality eyeshadow.

Yy to harmony wash in colour too!

Frostyhighlights · 29/06/2022 18:29

The suede nail buffer from Sally Hansen from the 1980s. Was orange plastic and came with a little white tube of buffing cream. I can smell it now. My nails were like glass they were so shiny. My schoolfriend was very envious and took it to use in school assembly where it was confiscated. Never saw it again 😢

JaneJeffer · 29/06/2022 18:35

@greywinds you can still get it in France (not much use)

KirstenBlest · 29/06/2022 18:38

Corn Silk
Almay
Botanics make up that you could create a palette with
Bourjois

Oceanus · 29/06/2022 18:39

L'Oréal Paris Studio Secrets High Definition Smoothing Foundation.
Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealer without the powder as it was back in the day.

greywinds · 29/06/2022 18:40

Good to know though @JaneJeffer thanks!

ruby1234 · 29/06/2022 18:41

Vitapointe hair conditioner.
Tamed frizzy hair better than anything I can find now.

TrobadoraBeatrice · 29/06/2022 18:48

Dermalogica's Climate Control lip balm, proper Pears soap before they changed the scent, a particular shade of red nail polish by Mac.

SharpLily · 29/06/2022 18:53

And in Spain.

TheOriginalMrsMoss · 29/06/2022 19:03

Silkience Shampoo and Conditioner - the best for curly hair. It smelled incredible and my 80's curls were legendary!

Corn Silk powder - why discontinue this!

TheOriginalMrsMoss · 29/06/2022 19:09

Also totally agree about the Barbara Daly makeup at Tesco. The foundation was brilliant and the perfect consistency.

AlphaAlpha · 29/06/2022 19:12

Max factor eye brightening mascara.

I have blue/green eyes and used the blue and brown mascaras - they would totally enhance the colours in my eyes. The blue was almost navy and ever so slightly shimmery, looked really good on a night out.

I've tried Kiko blue and brown mascaras but doesn't even come close.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 29/06/2022 19:12

Body Shop spirit of moonflower edt

You can sometimes get it on eBay but for ridiculous prices!!

Diesel Zero Plus feminine. That was the perfume of my youth. Again on eBay, but I've been stung by fakes before.

Eeksteek · 29/06/2022 19:13

St Ives deep conditioner. Smelt amazing and nothing else is as good.

Village candle cinnamon bun. Best smell ever.

MarshmallowsOnToast · 29/06/2022 19:15

Oh and DKNY red delicious 😭

Motnight · 29/06/2022 19:15

Body Shop Japanese Rice facial scrub.

Defiantlynot41 · 29/06/2022 19:19

Broken record... I always post this on these threads

Skin scent perfume by Ultima II. Best perfume ever and I've found nothing quite like it

ChipButtyCurrySauce · 29/06/2022 19:24

St.Ives mint conditioner. Loved the smell and the tingle on the scalp!

ThreeKneeRepeater · 29/06/2022 19:26

Benefit Benebalm. Bought it for years.
Bourjois Healthy Mix Gel Blusher.

WellTidy · 29/06/2022 19:29
