Name-changed for this just in case!

100% honesty on this dress - I love it but my bust is considerably bigger than my waist so my chest always looks top heavy.

I feel like I have a flabby mum body - is this your first thought too? (Dress for special occasion, wanted to feel beautiful but mostly just feel matron-ish. Also please ignore trainers!)

That is a great dress. Also, my waist is bigger than my bust so I am fully qualified to say your proportions are fab.

KalaniM · 25/06/2022 21:19

If you’ve bought this dress, dye it. Get some dylon china blue and dye it. Then get a better bra and some sandals. You look amazing! You have a gorgeous body, the dress isn’t a good colour and your bra and shoes need an upgrade!

hetty74 · 25/06/2022 21:20

As someone with a similar figure, but bigger, I always think this style just makes the bust look too low and thus unflattering.

sparklefarts · 25/06/2022 21:20

Fabulous figure!

Drab colour and style dress

Ohsugarhoneyicetea · 25/06/2022 21:26

No, looks like something gran made from curtains during the war.

Helpimfalling · 25/06/2022 21:26

Would make a lovely day time dress with white trainers.

You look lovely

WishILivedInThrushGreen · 25/06/2022 21:32

Truth... the tiers do nothing for you.

Bobbins36 · 25/06/2022 21:33

You look lovely!

fussygalore118 · 25/06/2022 21:46

Ooh is that from tkmax?? I saw that dress today and really liked it!

lljkk · 25/06/2022 21:51

I like the dress but think OP needs a bra with a little more lift.

FridayiminlovewithRobertSmith · 25/06/2022 22:09

I think you look really lovely - you don’t have a “flabby” or “matronly” body. My words would be womanly and feminine. I like prairie style dresses (and it’s v modern look at how much O Pioneer goes for for example) and I think the style and V on this flatters you. I’m less keen on the colour way but I’m sure could look great with the right accessories. Overall it’s a thumbs up from me and I hope you find your confidence! 😊

Musmerian · 25/06/2022 22:11

You need a better fitting bra. Your boobs are too low so band size is probably too big.

Pinkwellies81 · 25/06/2022 22:12

Your figure looks great, but sorry I dislike the dress

ListerLess · 25/06/2022 22:13

So many good suggestions, thank you everyone.

I think I always seem to see these kinds of dresses on beautiful, small breasted models and think, "Wow, why can't that be me!"

Going to do some Googling and link clicking based on suggestions here, much appreciated 😊

It's very day wear to me, but must say you have a lovely figure. I wouldnt wear for a special occasion I think it's for the park with white trainers or sandals.

ListerLess · 25/06/2022 22:14

Ooooh, and new bra. Think I'll be visiting Bravissimo!

Yodaisawally · 25/06/2022 22:14

I don't like the dress but the style really suits you. Get something brighter!

Sexnotgender · 25/06/2022 22:14

You look fabulous… BUT it’s not a special occasion dress.

oldestmumaintheworld · 25/06/2022 22:15

Ugly sadly. Looks like a pair of old lady curtains. You can do much better.

pawpatrol1 · 25/06/2022 23:03

You have a great figure and this dress highlights it. Just not sure about the pattern but I don't hate it.

Norachance · 25/06/2022 23:16

Looks good on you. You have a great figure. Get some white trainers - Stan smith type.

SiobhanSharpe · 25/06/2022 23:20

The style is good, it suits you - but the colour is dull, IMO.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 25/06/2022 23:26

Not loving it, sorry. The trainers are bad, You have a lovely figure, but all the tiers plus the colour make it look a bit too devout for my liking.

Isonthecase · 25/06/2022 23:31

I think I'd need to see it with a better bra and some heels to have an opinion. It's not particularly flattering as is but the difference of a bit more lift and the changed posture from heels could well give the early 2000s Sienna miller at glasto esque look I suspect you're going for (who wouldn't be?).

Jellybean27 · 25/06/2022 23:38

What flab? You’ve got a great figure!

Dress is ugly.
