Meghan Markle style

Just saw the attached photo of MM at the polo - I love her outfit! Casual but the mixed denim is really chic and I like the structure of the shorts with the looseness of the shirt.

Two tones of the same colour seems to be a bit of a thing for her - couple more photos attached. Has anyone else noticed other style motifs with what she wears?

She does colour blocking fabulously, as does Victoria Beckham

Its not absolutely MM but I just loved her style in Suits, she looked amazing in everything

Hoolahulahoop · 25/06/2022 13:34

Stunning. I love her interior design ideas too. My favourite fashion look is the jeans and white shirt (first Invictus)

Raspberryjam22 · 25/06/2022 13:46

I always think that MM looks great in casual clothes but formal outfits never seem to fit her properly .

JaneJeffer · 25/06/2022 13:49

Looking at the shorts I think Meghan has a wonky hip like me!

This outfit?

I love that colour blocking stuff as well. She looks much better in normal fashion than the rigid royal stuff.

Honaloulou · 25/06/2022 13:54

I agree. It's very, very polished mum chic. It's how I aspire to look with unlimited money, and someone to do the ironing and deal with toddler mealtimes.

StrychnineInTheSandwiches · 25/06/2022 13:54

I notice that she (like me) often favours boat neck/slash neck tops, to give the illusion of a longer neck.

I thought this was a really stunning formal look.

That mag be a tip I should adopt too!

Yes. That's it. The white shirt jeans combo. Also her second wedding dress. Loved it.

AnyFucker · 25/06/2022 16:15

She has impeccable dress sense. Very clean lines, unfussy, minimal (if any) patterns.

Mumsnut · 25/06/2022 16:15

She has amazing legs

She has a thick waist. I don't mean that negatively, she has a fantastic figure which I'd personally die for, but she doesn't have the tiny slip of a waist like Kate, which I think sometimes in comparison her outfits don't look as good BUT would if we weren't force fed Kate and her teeny time frame!

Malariahilaria · 25/06/2022 16:24

Agree. I have never had a waist even when I was younger and a size 10. It's a good reminder that models are a certain shape which isn't attainable or suits everyone. I keep seeing people in lovely floral dresses but when I get them delivered and try them on I look like a busty messy haired 17th century wench. This reminds me to stick to simple lines.

styleness · 25/06/2022 16:25

Absolutely with you on the second dress. So utterly chic

She’s absolutely beautiful and I love everything she wears, formal informal. I wish she’d been able to stay in the UK, she would have been a real asset, I also liked the clothes her mother wore, she’s around my age, and was a real inspiration , I wish there were more photos of her but I suppose she wants her privacy.

styleness · 25/06/2022 16:32

Also loved this look. She's very firmly a fan of tailoring.

I always think she carries herself like she's tall - even without heels I'd have assumed she was 5'10ish, but she's actually only 5'6. I guess that's good posture.

Her style reminds me a bit of Jennifer Anniston. That kind of relaxed Ralph Lauren Californian look.

hopeishere · 25/06/2022 16:53

When she gets it right she looks amazing. The skirt and tops above are lovely. Second wedding dress - stunning. Red caped dress - amazing.

But as like all of us she can get it wrong. Some of her stuff doesn't fit her properly - there was a red dress in New York that was woeful. And a floral one when pregnant that was way too tight.

Iloveartichokes · 25/06/2022 16:55

She always looks amazing imo.

Minimalme · 25/06/2022 17:01

She looks so beautiful in that red dress posted up thread.

She really knows her own style and always looks comfortably polished.

I do think she has the advantage of being beautiful with a perfect figure though.
