Wobbling about dress

I’m having a wobble. I chose a dress To wear as MOB but it creases so easily.

back up dress is this one which I love love love but would it be weird to wear it because the material is velvet?

What's your other one like?

Its lovely and looks comfy, will you lighten it up a bit with accessories.

And is it a summer wedding?

@Plump82 it’s this one - it looks amazing in the photo and the corset part is fantastic but the skirt is all crepe and creases so so easily. I’m also now winning because of the split.

@Costacoffeeplease split comes about mid thigh when walking. Not so obvious standing

I prefer the purple velvet, it’s really lovely. I don’t think velvet would be weird unless it’s the height of summer.

Its quite gloomy and a bit Morticia. I would say not suitable. Its the colour not the velvet. Also more evening wear.

Please don't change that dress - it's stunning! The velvet is too much of a winter dress and that other dress is just wow.

Velvet in May is not a good look. It also looks like a stretch velour, which isn't very weddingy. The blue is lovely.

The blue is lovely but personally I'd be concerned about the spilt especially when sitting down. I love the purple one and the fact it's velvet wouldn't put me off wearing it in May.

Definitely the blue! It’s a classic MOB dress and you’ll look great.

It just that the skirt creases so easily - even sitting creases it and I need to sit in the car and I don’t want to have a crumpled dress in the photos

The velvet dress is an evening dress for a winter party. The blue dress is much better.

I don't think you should change dresses, I think it would make it appear you are a bit of a diva. You are not the First Lady at the inauguration parties.
