I think wide-legged trousers, maybe in black would've made all the difference to that polo look. I like the hat, hair and red lip.

susiebluebell · 23/05/2022 15:03

Agreed, the top half is splendid.

gluenotsoup · 23/05/2022 15:13

I agree about the Swedish royals this time around.
I’m also in agreement about Meghans outfit not really working, it’s all a bit much, big hat, spots, tie neck, short skirt, high heels, lots of hair and lipstick. I think it would have looked better and more elegant in a modern way if kept more simple.
I do love the dress and hat her friend has though, it’s much more wearable.

Gorgeous navy dress worn by Meghan. Do we know where it's from?

Alwayscheerful · 23/05/2022 15:39

It looks similar to a Caroline Herrera dress worn previously. Sadly I have only experienced the odd reduced item from Bicester.

Maireas · 23/05/2022 15:50

Yes, that navy dress was from the Windsor Polo, when they were first married. I think it's a really nice look.

One of my favourite looks, I like the colour and shape. Is it Carolina Herrera?

Yes, that was a Carolina Herrra dress. One of Meghan’s best ever looks - I looked it up online, as I loved it so much I was considering buying it, but it was way outside my budget! Jaeger did a similar style that year, but nowhere near as nice, alas.

gluenotsoup · 23/05/2022 18:30

Yes, I agree that’s one of her best, the shape really suits her. That’s what I meant when I said more simple.

gluenotsoup · 23/05/2022 18:35

I’m currently looking for something to wear to a summer wedding, I’d like something like Meghan’s navy dress but a bit cheaper 😂

I am too. Maybe in a brighter colour, but I love the dress.

Justkeeppedaling · 23/05/2022 18:55

That doesn't look anything like Meghan.

Eaumyword · 23/05/2022 19:59

I love that navy dress, the shape is fabulous.

Gooseysgirl · 23/05/2022 23:07

Bea and Edo at Chelsea flower show... I HAVE to know if she is wearing.... a FERGIE BOW???? And if yes, is it an original borrowed from Sarah? Edo's suit immaculately fitted as always.

I came on this thread to post about Beatrice's dress. I generally don't go for her style (or her sister's - I'm a Sarah Chatto fan) but I love this dress - perfectly fitted too and lovely sleeves. I was also taken aback by the bow :)

AmberLynn1536 · 23/05/2022 23:35

I like Bea’s dress but I’m unsure about the heavy looking shoes and bag, and yes that is definitely a Fergie bow!

Eeeek the shoes and bag don't match! Such a shame as the dress is pretty

Pallisers · 23/05/2022 23:58

yes shoes bag and bow are not great (although I would love the shoes with a different dress) but I love the dress.

mathanxiety · 24/05/2022 01:29

The dress is a modified version of the Little House on the Prairie style frocks - I love it. I love her shoes too, but as others have said, not with the dress. The bow gets a thumbs down from me.

Maireas · 24/05/2022 06:55

I really like Beatrice's dress, it's fresh and floral and not a tiered monstrosity! The colour and fit are lovely, and suit her. I agree about the shoes and bag - really nice, just not with that dress.

KillingMeDeftly · 24/05/2022 07:15

Beatrice really loves that dress by TVW doesn't she? This must be the third variation of it that I've seen on her! I still think the dark green is the nicest - not so keen on the blue one, and those shoes definitely don't go. Sandals or a lighter colour would've been a better option.

KillingMeDeftly · 24/05/2022 07:20

And that's definitely a Fergie bow. I had one when I was about 10 - black velvet with tiny silver dots. I thought it was the epitome of style!

justasking111 · 24/05/2022 08:36

Bea looking quite lovely here. The bow I missed well spotted
