This cream has changed my face!

I have sensitive skin, sometimes can be quite dry. Anything 'drying' or harsh makes my skin break out. But something like a moisturiser that's really really basic like a Simple branded one does nothing for it

I recently put a cream called Atrixo on my face. I was desperate on a trip out and my face was dry

Woke up the following morning and I was growing! Absolutely glowing.

I've been using it for over a month and it's still fantastic.

At £3 or less a pot I just had to share Smile

Hope this might help someone in need of something new to try

Is it the hand cream?

HellToTheNope · 04/04/2022 21:52

Which one?

justonanote · 04/04/2022 21:54

Sorry I haven't got it on me just now

It's a yellow tub with a light green lid

It looks like hand cream from the link. Is it ok for the face too then?

WhyOfCourse · 04/04/2022 22:04

I can't stand this stuff. It made me look greasy.

IEatChocolateForBreakfast · 04/04/2022 22:06

Is this the same stuff? amzn.to/35K0zdm

Looks like it's hand cream? I'm not good at knowing whether ingredients are suitable for the face or not. But I've got very very dry hands and skin. Might give this a go. Thanks OP

justonanote · 04/04/2022 22:07

@IEatChocolateForBreakfast that's it! Smile

My mum always had a pot of Atrixo in her handbag , I'm sure it's hand cream.

StopThe · 04/04/2022 22:10

It's hand cream 🤣

It is hand cream. I use it on my face too! I’m allergic to loads of stuff, expensive stuff brings me out in spots. Atrixo is fab been using it on my face for years. It cured eczema on my fingers too.

Mind you , I grabbed a tube of cream without my glasses on thinking it was face cream, it was actually cracked heel cream, I thought it smelt a bit minty for face cream.

frugalkitty · 04/04/2022 22:16

Scent of my childhood that is, my mum always used it on her hands. I think JLo Glow perfume smells similar. Never tried it on my face though.

Stripyhoglets1 · 04/04/2022 22:25

My grandma used the- I can still smell it in my memories. Wonder if it smells the same.
We used to use it when we were there and I bite my nails so I know what it tastes like too!

chisanunian · 04/04/2022 22:26

Atrixo has been around for years. I used to use it on my hands in the 1980's when I had an outdoors job. Brilliant stuff.

SausagePourHomme · 04/04/2022 22:27

I'm getting a proustian rush from the picture of that tub. they used to advertise it on tv

"active hands are attractive hands"

User0610134049 · 04/04/2022 22:30

Aw my mum used to use atrixo hand cream in the 80s
It’s really nostalgic for me

barbrahunter · 04/04/2022 22:33

My mum used it too in the 60's. Lovely stuff

Mummyoflittledragon · 04/04/2022 22:33

I have in the past heard hand cream is fine for the face and a money saving tip.

ncforinkhelp · 04/04/2022 22:35

I use this religiously on my hands and sometimes on my face if I've got really dry skin. I read on another thread on here that it's a dupe for Crème De La Mer, as it has a very similar ingredient list..... no idea if that's true or not!!

Mamawarrior · 04/04/2022 22:46

Must purchase tomorrow 😀

BOOTS52 · 04/04/2022 22:58

Sounds like a great find. I just started hrt and usually have good skin but when I am on the 14 days of progesterone I am breaking out in spots that I did not even get as a teenager so use Sudocrem at night time and my son laughs as I look like a ghost with my face all white. Sudocrem is amazing for everything. Am guessing the spots are to do with the added hormones for those 14 days.

FabFitFifties · 04/04/2022 23:02

I remember this from the 80's too! I have had a similar money saving revelation, using baby Aveeno on my face, when products ran out during lockdown. Use it everyday now, and skin is lovely 😁
