Which dress to black tie

Just realised the work event I have next week is black tie. It's being hosted by one of our suppliers so no customers there not that it makes a difference.

So which dress shall I wear
Orange - love the swish of this one but bought it 7/8 years ago pre child no3 so they'd more cleavage out than before and I feel a little exposed.

Red dress has pockets the zip is stiff though so worried it will go.

Black dress nice enough but a bit bland could do with a brighter contrast for the white lining

I think the black dress works best. The orange is my least favourite.

I don't like the shape of the red - looks dated - the black fits you beautifully.

I think the black shoes you posted would work with the black dress. Do you have a bright clutch? Plus add some bling - a bracelet ideally - and you'll be all set. Lovely!

Black with bright accessories / clutch as others have suggested. The red looks good but bridesmaidy and dated. The orange would be better for lunch out.

Just fyi I machine wash dry clean only things. Linen can shrink as can viscose as only some viscose is washable. But apart from that, it usually comes up ok.

I like the red best, you look fab in the orange but maybe more for a party.

Have a look at New Look for shoes. They do a surprising range of styles, colours etc and they do a specific comfy range which are heels with more padding on the sole of your foot which are surprisingly good, and very reasonably priced

Black definitely. Much nicer shape and flattering. Would go for some statement shoes and bag though to jaz it up

Black first, red second. The orange is not very flattering, you look lovely in the black and the red.

Not to late I should have said it's next weekend but I have a really busy week so need to organised to grab the stuff and go.

Decided with the black and I'm going to use my leather blazer as cover up I quite like how it looks.

If I see any bright clutch or shoes in the meantime I might get them.

Especially for all you vipers here's my outfit.
