Looking at the bottom of that dress OP, does it need hemming up and finishing? It looks like threads are hanging down the the lining is longer than the dress itself as if its not finished..

It is gorgeous dress but the skin on the inside of your upper arms would be shredded in seconds, you would have to spend all night walking around with your arms raised.

So that’s what long gloves are for!

At the start of 2020 I was looking forward to an actual Summer event - a college ball - and fondly imagined myself in (something like) this, which is pretty much my ideal image of a full length frock.

Never happened, obvs.

This is gorgeous.

(I don’t care about the pop-sock styling on the miu-miu one, but it looks ill-fitting to me - it’s hanging too low on her chest - but we’ll assume it would fit you perfectly ;-)

I love this one though. I couldn’t wear this colour unfortunately but it would look amazing on someone with the right colouring.

OP it feels that at the moment any light hearted or frivolous thread will have someone plopping a "How DARE you!!!!" post onto it. All I can say is, when things take a turn for the bloody awful, I actively seek out some distraction. Thank you for providing some.
