Facial Fillers. I am SO happy with the results

I just wanted to come on here and share my experience. I've wanted facial fillers for a long time as ive lost alot of volume in my mid face as I've aged. I'm 44 and had my first botox experience in November last year. I was over the moon with that. For 11s and a little in my forehead. Anyhoo fast forward to yesterday and I've had filler in my cheeks and a little in my nasolabial folds and a tiny bit in the corners of my mouth. I just cannot tell you how happy I am with the results. Its subtle but that's exactly how it should be. I look plumped and refreshed. More importantly I still look like me! It cost £900 for 3ml. Top end place but with years of experience and fantastic reputation.

I have no bruising. No swelling. It wasn't sore at all. I am a tad tender today but nothing remotely worth even taking a paracetamol for. I bruise easily so i am surprised at this.

Anyways anyone who has been thinking of going for this I'd totally recommend it. Do your research first though.

Alice Hart-Davis from the Tweakments guide had a scan of her filler and found it was still there 4 years later. This is good news that fillers may last longer than we think.

Good news . Hyaluronic acid fillers longevity. Hyaluronic acid is naturally present, and most prevalent, in places like our skin, and is beneficial.

I think the takeaway is that it’s not necessarily a bad thing that fillers last longer than we thought. Just that it’s very important to go somewhere reputable as if they are wrongly placed and migration happens then you are stuck with that for a long time.

I had tear trough fillers a good 2.5 years ago and I don’t need a top up. Yet if I listened to what was the standard advice I would have been thinking of more at 18 months or so. I think that is when you can lose perspective. I don’t think anyone should be getting fillers every 6 months.

Tear trough filler seems to last longer. No I don't think every six months, though I know someone who 'needs' their cheek and naso filler doing that often. I'd question the practitioner there possibly.

I have cheek fillers. I love the effect they give. Mine last for about 12 to 15 months.
