Seeing as we had a lot of fun with the Advent Calendar...I have a free Apothecary Pulse Point Oil , a bunch of bananas and a free pastry. 😁

When the lady scanned my Sparks card and said I only had 19% off Gary Barlow tickets I laughed in her face!

goldensilver · 05/03/2022 07:21

10% that should read. Although 19% wouldn't make a difference to my decision Grin

JulesJules · 05/03/2022 08:37

20% off skincare today

mum2jakie · 05/03/2022 08:48

20% off thongs for me today! Although I do have a 20% off for food shop over £20 which will definitely get used!

ChickenStripper · 05/03/2022 08:51

15% off lighting 🙄 but I did get 3 free things previously

20% off socks !! I could give them some back.

LookdeepintotheParka · 05/03/2022 17:11

Delighted to get a free Apothecary candle gift set but were there any available in store today....of course not and there were loads of people looking for them in store as we were all given the same offer Hmm

What I don't entirely understand is why Sparks want to predict what you need at any given moment in time? Wouldn't it be better to just give a general 20% off anything in store as you might actually use it. Others on here have offers I would use e.g. 20% beauty but I have 20% off kids socks/pants which is useless for me with 2 hulking older teenagers!!

This was just the same with the Advent ones at Christmas with some of the offers, I had about 3 that were never in my local shop. It is same with £5 off £50 of shopping, why not give 2 x £2 off £20 which I am likely to spend but don't think I have every spent 50 in one go in there as there are only 2 of us. What they usually do is give me 20% off say shoes when I bought some 3 weeks ago and don't want any more but have worn these once and can't return to buy again to use the discount.

Has anyone bought the mother's Day box? I loved the advent calendar one but this mother's Day one looks expensive for what it is. I think there is 2 nail polishes which is won't use as an a keen gardener so pretty nails aren't my thing!

IsThisNameTaken · 05/03/2022 17:57

Competition entry to win a stylist session today (but only in Marble Arch and on 18th May) .... Sparks really don't like me!

It looks really disappointing for the price, it’s almost the same price as the Advent Calendar but only 8 rather than 25 items! Plus you’re right that it’s 2 nail varnishes which I have no use for. If it was like the Christmas one, I’d snap it up!

For a moment I thought that was the contents of the Mothers'Day box, and thought it was a bit of an odd assortment Grin
longtompot · 05/03/2022 20:40

I went in to get my free gifts but they weren't in. All other hand wash scents were there, plus the body lotion one in the same scent, but not the hand wash or the roof freshener sprays. Annoying to say the least

madamsapple · 05/03/2022 21:12

I had £50 off a fitbit, but then it disappeared.

Not sure what happened - was it 1 day only?

Carpediem15 · 06/03/2022 07:52

Load of rubbish this morning - free entry into a holiday draw which was an off site company. I want cake or chocolate.

mum2jakie · 06/03/2022 10:36

Prize draw entry for me too

longtompot · 06/03/2022 13:27

It is worth contacting them if the free gifts aren't available in your local store as I have just received a £10 e-gift card in order to buy the items and have delivered to store to collect.

I contacted them via email at Christmas re a freebie that was worth about £7. I just got a - we are so sorry it is not available at the stores you have tried and we can see from your account you are good M & S customer but once again we are sorry it was unavailable. blah blah blah.
longtompot · 06/03/2022 13:37

That's a shame @Carpediem15 I still would try every time, just in case. I think it's wrong for a company to offer customers so thing but then not deliver on that offer.

ChickenStripper · 06/03/2022 14:32

Win a 10 day trip to the USA today.

but they ( companies ) always say "subject to availability"

I really can't be bothered with loading apps onto my phone and then ferreting around with it at the till - I much prefer a loyalty card. Haven't shopped at M&S for ages though and never seem to get usable offers
