Mine is now:
Much more casual - previously very dressy

No bras anymore, just bra-tops - underwired bras before

Comfy shoes and trainers - previously mostly heels

Less patterns, more block colours

I feel like I've lost my dressing mojo 😪

I’m worried that I haven’t described the ‘pleather jeggings’ properly. I think they’re more properly described as ‘coated jeggings’, they’re the M&S ones here

Sorry.

liveforsummer · 01/03/2022 19:15

@WellTidy no thats was I think I was expecting. I have coated jeans but find them a bit too rigid and can be a bit baggy at the ankle. Are these super comfy/stretchy? Look like exactly what I'm looking for.

WellTidy · 01/03/2022 19:23

They’re extremely soft and comfortable. Just like their jeggings in every way. They do make a funny noise when you walk through, sort of a swishing noise. I’ve only washed them once in a cool wash but they’ve been fine.

@liveforsummer

Sure! Mine are from M&S and Arket but they’re all over at the moment. I’m also eyeing up a leather pair that I saw online (can’t remember where right now)

I've been wearing leggings since the start of lockdown.

I have lost all motivation.

I could never ever wear jeans ever again.

@Norma27

I started work in a great job in September after 8 yrs of being a sahm and a career for my elderly mum. I seem to have found my mojo again since starting work. I treated myself to a new wardrobe from eBay mainly Hobbs, jaeger, Reiss and white stuff, and started wearing my hair down and a bit of make-up. I keep being told how glamorous I look. I’m definitely not glamorous- I just wasn’t making any effort before mainly because I couldn’t afford to. but I do feel much better knowing I am making an effort again and taking more pride in my appearance. If I hadn’t got this new job I would not have afforded the new clothes though.
Oh wow, well done you!! I always make a huge effort for work, makes me feel more professional and l get taken more seriously plus it gives me a feeling of self worth

This is my problem as I haven't worked for over 3 years, so now I just wear jeans and tshirts all day and it makes me feel like crap. I used to dress up for work, dresses, tights, nice heeled boots, flamboyant coats. Makeup. I look in the mirror and I don't feel like it's me anymore 😔 I might get some coated jeans/leggings and try to smarten up a bit.

BrinksmansEntry · 02/03/2022 13:19

I've started to make my own knickers.

I was already making other clothes but now am fully embracing making everything.

I genuinely no longer care about what people make of the clothes I wear. I don't think other people really cared anyway but I now don't care if they did.

I have no idea what to wear in an office now.

ArabeI · 02/03/2022 19:28

Hair - rarely use heat on my hair now, have embraced my natural wave. I've nearly always had my hair cut to mid back, but am now letting it grow to waist length (which it is when wet/straight). Discarded hair bobbles for silk hair ties.

I've also, on the whole, ditched the underwired bras for more comfortable bralettes.

I bought jeans for the first time (in years) but am yet to wear them. I prefer skirts, dresses, still.
