Well I have a rare day off today so am off for a run shortly - todays only other outfit has consisted of a dry robe and neoprene !

At least the crazy weather gives me the chance to wear some more of my favourite knitwear!

Well we're off. Ds has been in bed all week with a non covid feverish illness. Dh and I have avoided it so far. Off to see db, dsil and dear niece then a couple of days in the capital. Hope you had a lovely evening @intwrferingma. Love the velvet suit. Great hand knit @Sooverthemill. Beautiful beach photo @missfliss. Yesterday dress white stuff, cardigan monsoon. In casuals today. May manage a photo at Db's house.

@missfliss So jealous! I haven't had a sea swim since the glorious weather last weekend but I'll be going tomorrow morning and can't wait. Which part of the UK are you?

@EllaPaella - I'm in West Sussex in a seaside town near Brighton.
I sea swim most days super early before work - it's my 'fun' before adulting each day!

Yesterday I managed to nab a lunchtime dip and out of the wind it was lovely!!

@missfliss NE coast of Newcastle upon Tyne. This pic is from a few Sundays ago. Glorious. I started sea swimming last summer and just decided to keep going as long as possible (in just a costume) and here I am in April having gone several times a week all through winter! The health benefits have been immense.

No day time outfit as I forgot to take a pic 🤦‍♀️ at a work event but no customers here so a bit more relaxed, just recharging my batteries before going back to the party switching to flatter shoes for dancing!

Lovely pics - slightly jealous of a sandy beach too.
I started sea swimming in Nov 20 - it's truly become a huge part of my life. It's given me so much including some new local friends :-)
I've been in nearly daily since last summer - there are two other girls I swim with most mornings and we've been up early even in the dark and swimming when we can each morning at about 6:30. Obviously there have been some days when it's not safe to go.
All evidenced health benefits aside I've also noticed that my annual winter SAD has not been as present this year too!

It's a wonderful life affirming thing isn't it? X

It’s my birthday today and I am as old as the Beatles song which is a bit of a shock. So I’m wearing white jeans and I don’t care if the dogs make them grubby. Jumper as it’s bloody cold ( but of snow overnight) but also showing a new blouse from Sézane which is another treat to myself
