I've taken DD and her friend swimming and joyfully they are old enough to go in on their own... so I popped into the only open charity shop and found these babies which I love with all my heart and can justify as it's a friends 50th in April and she having a massive disco party.

Not that I need to justify them but I'm not sure I would wear them to the yard/walking the dog which is what I spend most of my time in public doing.

And this dress, but black and shorter - for £5

It's so cold here. I spent most of the day just in dungarees and top but have had to add on what I call my housecoat.

Went to a friend's birthday party last night, I went alone which I'm proud of myself for as we couldn't get a babysitter and I didn't know anyone except the host, I chatted to lots of different people and had a good time 😁

Went with this one in the end knew this necklace would be useful have had it years.

Working today.Wearing another Hush dress bargain.Bought it for work but might take it off and wear it out on Saturday.

Took it off and changed it for an Asda one.Like the Hush one too much for it to become a work dress.

Love them both @Chrispackhamspoodle. I think you should wear the Hush one to work as well, don't save it for occasions - it's lovely and needs to be worn as much as possible 😍 Are you going to the Me & Em sample sale?

Thanks for the boots love! And the whistle I wore them in the leisure centre without as much remark as I would have expected from two suddenly aware of fashion pre teens. I guess they've got used to me "when I am old I will wear purple" mentality. I'm actually looking quite snazzy today but have gone out with our taking a photo. I'll try ti remember later.

@EllaPaella I am going to the Me&Em sale.Looking forward to it although imagine it will be crazy as it's only 1 day.I'm in London meeting a friend anyway so will go along in the morning.Would like some new tops.

I am off out into town. Dress from Artista, a Budapest label I think, that you get from Wolf and Badger. Love their quirky pieces. Boots are my Wonder Woman boots from EMP - got them in the sale as no one else is mad enough to wear them I guess, lol. Soo comfy - love em. Coat is from Stand Studio - still really chilly here. PurplecatDog is in a huff in the pic as one of the Purplecat posse has nicked his bed again, lol.

The comfiest of outfits for what has to be a lazy day after an afternoon and evening spent in A&E with DD and a 3 o’clock bedtime. She’s not any better but ruled out scary stuff and different antibiotics and an impetus to push GP for better drugs day to day
Absolutely pooped. But we did get a McDonald’s on the way home which cheered me up -a vegan yummyness. We don’t live anywhere near anywhere like that and never have. This was my first fast food like this since 2012? 2011? Anyway, it was good! ( probably would have eaten cardboard by that stage)
