Best soap for removing sweat smell of armpits

I am sweaty and menopausal. Moved to soap as shower gel was no use. I have had a shower this morning and lathered my armpits. Got out of the shower and they still smell of stale sweat. What do I need to use to remove the smell? It’s so embarrassing.

Use a soap bar. I buy posh soap on a rope for the shower. Love it

use a flannel to scrub the soap under your armsz

There was a thread on this a while ago. Lots of good ideas but the game changer for me was washing twice - pretty much like a double cleanse for your pits. Once to wash away all the previous deodorant and sweat and again to clean. I've used bars of soap for years anyway. I now never smell sweaty during the day, not even around my period when I guess the hormones make me stinkier! I sound evangelical about it but such I simple thing has made me feel so much better about myself.

I had that when I was only using natural deodorant. I went back to antiperspirant 3 or 4 times a week, deodorant the other days, and the issue hasn't come back

Shield soap has worked wonders on my teenage son.

I switched to a tea tree soap

Coal tar soap. Love it!

Your body odour can change enormously during perimenopause. HRT will help, and also stop the sweatiness/hot flushes

I use lavender soap with no palm oil in it. It's really good.

Op try exfoliating with a Korean Italy towel - it worked for me.

After showering try slapping some 4711 eau de cologne on your pits. I think it’s the alcohol content which must kill any of the smell making bacteria you didn’t get rid of by washing. Works for me - and I never use anti perspirant or deodorant. Also only wearing natural fibres helps, too!

God, I thought it was just me with this problem!
