Sexy date outfit

I'm looking for ideas for a sexy outfit for a date with my partner. He absolutely goes mad for heels and a woman dressed up to the nines. I've tended to dress well, more feminine ditsy rather than sexy but with ankle boots for comfort. I would like to surprise him with something different and sexy. I'm a curvy hourglass size 14/16.

Any ideas would be great, here's an item I thought might work with a softer top and heels. I haven't worn heels in ages either.

I was expecting something up to the crotch going by the nasty replies. There is nothing wrong with that skirt! yes its overtly sexy but thats what op is looking for. I think it would look good with a blouse or wrap top op. Ignore the snide comments. You have to remember frumpy Boden is beloved on here(shudder)

I don’t mind the skirt. It’s saucy but could look good with the right top. I don’t think the pussy bow blouse suggested upthread ticks the ‘sexy date outfit’ box.

Well truthfully I was thinking I would buy larger so it would sit much lower and less revealing, plus a longer top. I didn't expect people to be so vicious here

Hi OP, I couldn't wear that in public and feel comfortable although I have a few outfits like that for home only!

I agree that a pencil skirt, either leather or well fitted with a top would look good. I have a few mesh tops I wear with skirts or dresses. SheIn has loads of them and I def feel sexy in them.

I also often go to Quiz when I'm looking for a dress that is sexy and classy.

I don't think that is meant to be worn out! You could get a normal tight leather skirt though and wear it with silk blouse and heels.

You said he likes 'dressed up to the nines' so I think that sounds more like he likes glamorous outfits.

I think it’s fine if you are comfortable. Im not sure why everyone is saying it’s so awful. You could order it and try it on ? I don’t think a longer top would work though I think it would need to be tucked in or a bodysuit ? Remember op everyone has different tastes/ opinions on what looks good ect. Enjoy your date

The skirt you posted isn't to my taste, tbh. Ultimately, LoveHoney is bedroom wear and, whilst I like my DH to think I look attractive/sexy, I wouldn't necessarily want to advertise my plans for the evening to the whole restaurant. I'm all for women dressing how they want but I have to admit that, whilst I'd never say anything, I probably would do a double take if I saw someone out at a restaurant or the cinema in that skirt.

I think sexiness can actually be more effective when it's less overt. I think you can find similar that's more flattering and perhaps a bit classier/more appropriate for public consumption. Some of the links posted by PPs are nice.

Just put on a lovely dress and some heels.

I’m not sure buying it bigger would make it sit so low the spit wouldn’t be up your arse. Unless your considering buying a size twenty and wearing it on your hips. Which would not look good at all. And a long top would just hide the corset. It would all look a bit silly.

Op it’s not vitriol or viciousness, posters are just a bit stunned. Love honey is not known as the place to shop for fashion gear for nights out. That’s next, whistles, river island, Lk bennet, coast, oasis, H&M etc,

But anyone can wear what they want, at any age, and as long as they are confortable and happy, that’s all that matters, but if you go out wearing sex gear you need to ensure you’re safe. Bloody hell some people have led sheltered lives! I don’t personally like the skirt but it’s hardly worthy of doing a double take if you saw someone wearing it in public. It’s not like it has a transparent panel over the crotch! I’ve seen much worse on nights out, I don’t think it would look out of place in a bar or club. Having said that I probably wouldn’t peg it (no pun intended) as fancy restaurant wear

It's ultimately up to you op, but that isn't meant to be worn outside. It will look awful. People are trying to save you embarrassment. Just get a normal leather pencil skirt that won't show your whole arse.

That particular skirt is just too much to wear out.
