Where the skin glows but isn't greasy..how do you achieve that dewy look? Is it a serum?

Rosehip facial oil. It's my most favourite facial product.

I've got some Glossier skin tint coming as I want to try the same and was drawn in by the excessive marketing. I'll let you know how it goes!
Reporting back, I like this, it does give you a nice sheen but its very very sheer! I can only really get away with it on 'good skin days'.

It's also a tiny bottle for £20...

It will last you 3-4 months though. It’s fabulous. Even better when applied with a brush 🤩

I’ve just written and lost the longest post about this - my favourite subject. I can’t bear to go through it all again so here is a short version:

Skincare: Clarins Double Serum or (the only thing I’ve found to come close to DS for a much lower price) JapanFusion Genius Lift Elixir from Beauty Pie

Foundation: Glossier Perfecting Skin Tint - amazing. Lasts ages. Very sheer and flattering and makes your skin glow.

Prep: I have (and used to love) Glossier Futuredew but now use Laura Mercier perfecting primer. The Futuredew is good but quite heavy when layering with other products. The Laura Mercier one is a dream to work with and makes you look like a glowy celeb or something. It’s just that good.

There are referral links for anyone buying from glossier for the first time, so make sure you use one to save a bit on your first order. Think it’s 10%. I’ll stick mine on the promos board in case anyone wants it. Be warned though - the stuff is addictive!

Oh interesting I was patting it on with fingers like they do in the facebook adds lol

I did this at first too but I find I get a much better and longer lasting effect with a brush. I just apply straight to my face then use a big brush to sweep it around. I also use the cloud paint blushers (holy grail product right there!) so I find that using a brush to apply both makes then work together really well. Ie I’m not smearing layers of liquid makeup all over my face 😂

I love the dewy look.
I use a little Rosehip oil mixed with my normal moisturiser, followed by a face spf 50 which naturally creates a slightly shiny glow to my skin. I then use The Ordinary foundation which gives a lovely glow.
I add a little liquid highlighter on my cheekbones.
Cream blushers also give a nice glowy look.
You don't need to use expensive products (if you don't want to) to achieve a glowy/dewy look. It's easy to achieve.
