Which face oils work for you and do you use everyday

I’m in my 40s, everyday when I look in the mirror I see my tired, dull reflection looking back at me.

I drink loads of water. I don’t really fuss with too many face creams etc… just want my skin to look a bit brighter again.

I tried Clarins oil and it was lovely. Then I switched to a Vit C brightening cream and that was great too. But the last few weeks, my skins looks dull and dry.

I’m going to switch back to the oil again.

I’m just curious if you find face oils work for you? Do you use everyday?

If your skin looks dull, I would recommend acids.

Nuxe. Smells wonderful. Silky application. Love it! They do an enhanced bronzer one too! M&S sell it on line.

Are you sure it's oil that you need? If you don't use them already, I recommend acid toners. I use two from Paula's Choice - one is an AHA and the other is a BHA (i alternate which one I use at night). I definitely notice a change in my skin texture and glow if I stop using them. I started in my 20s and I'm 40 now!

I love the Sunday Riley Juno oil. Wake up with the most beautiful glow

I use oil after cleansing. I dislike Oaulas choice. DH bought some as a present. It had to go! Not for me. Packaging is z turn off before you open it. It’s all random.

@Toanewstart22 the face cream is utterly divine too.

And the face mask!

Apologies for a stupid question, but do you use oil after serum and moisturiser, or just after serum??

Welshgal85 · 21/01/2022 21:44

I use my oil after serum (or instead of!) and before moisturiser and it soaks in nicely but I think it depends on personal preference really

If it’s just the last few weeks, might it be staying inside with radiator on lots? Can really show in the skin

Fushi Rosehip Oil over a Matrixyl serum
