SOTD Banana Republic Gardenia & Cardamom. Going to put MMM By the Fireplace on in a bit though - it’s so cold we’ve lit our actual fire.

SOTD Musc Invisible JHAG. It's one of those clean 'smells like you but better' scents and it's lovely - my colleagues told me I smelled amazing, which was nice. I don't like JHAG Not A Perfume much, but this one's a winner.

SOTN is Ambre Narguile - a wintry smell for a wintry night. ❄️

Definitely some new perfume.

SOTD Gozo by Jeroboam. Not quite sure what I think of this, there's something leafy about it and I think there's cedar in there too, plus a definite undertow of patchouli. I've never been to Gozo so no idea what it smells like and to me this perfume reminds me of the shop in our local town I used to go in as a teenager where they were constantly burning joss sticks.

Going out later, might wear Jimmy Choo. I'm on a mission to wear all the samples in my Perfume Society box!

I'm wearing Malle's synthetic jungle.
A bitter green with lots of Galbanum, tomato leaf & blackcurrant.
I wasn't sure whether i loved it hated it at first, but then fell in love. Anyone remember the Ysl perfume In Love Again? This chypre has very many similar notes.

My bottle of Knowing arrived today, ooh it's gorgeous. I also got a few Replica samples and I've got Whispers in the Library on one wrist, Knowing on the other. WITL is nice, a gentle, wistful sort of scent.

SOTD is Opium, because we had another - albeit short - flurry of snow here today. So pretty! ❄️

Definitely agree the money should go towards perfume!

We used to have one of those shops in our town too @corneliastreet, minded by a man with a long silver ponytail. I loved the smell of whatever incense they used!

Synthetic jungle is an odd name, but the notes look wonderful. It's lovely to see new green chypres, a generally underappreciated genre (except on this thread ).

SOTD has been Musc Ravaguer, from a sample. It smells like spiced vanilla cookies and baby powder on me - a very weird combination. One moment I think I like it; the next I feel slightly sick. Will have to try it again.

Patchouli-vanilla sounds wonderful.

A beautiful spring day here, so out came Diorissimo as my SOTD.

SOTD Shay & Blue Tallulah’s Camellia. I like this but it doesn’t last long so respraying needed. It’s gardenia - after liking this, Secret Gardenia and Gardenia & Cardamom I’m coming to the conclusion that gardenia must be one of my favourite notes! I have always thought I didn’t like white florals, but maybe it is jasmine or tuberose I don’t like. More sampling needed to work it out, I think

SOTD is Ambre Orient.

Excited to have just placed my pp order for their Angel's Share dupe. Looking forward to it arriving - it sounds positively gorgeous.

Still full of Covid and not able to taste/smell. Please smell all the delightful fragrances for me!

Stunning but sadly fairly fleeting.
I really love the Clove note in it.

Now I'll give you all a laugh. SOTD yesterday was Portrait of A Lady. My young colleague told me I smelled nice and asked me what it was, only they misheard and thought I'd said it was called Portaloo Lady

I can't stand strong coconut notes either (I don't mind a light hint of coconut); it comes across as stale fat to me. I remember the original Far Away, my mum used to wear it. I think it was a floral rich vanilla; it used to smell OK, and then a note rather like seafood began to creep in that made it smell like toilets.

SOTD is Fahrenheit parfum, which smells like parma violets, light spices, and rich vanilla with a hint of smoke. Perfect for a stormy, rainy day near Easter.

SOTD was MMM Sailing Day, which I’ve decided I don’t really like. A bit like L’Eau D’Issey but more insipid. In By the Fireplace now, much better.

I really want to try one of the Ormonde Jayne sample sets and also the Sana Jardin one, some really interesting sounding things in there.

@CorneliaStreet I'm making my way through the Sana Jardin sample set, but nothing has really grabbed me yet. Which, given the price of a full bottle, I'm quite relieved about
