@Opal8 It really is!! I went out yesterday to the Dr's and an icy wind cut me in half and gave me a ferocious migraine. Took all evening to warm back up again. Ironically, I was only out because my gp wanted to do some checks before referring me to the hospital about those very same migraines. 🥶💨

Ugh. Poor you 😢
I've got my 2nd migraine jab tomorrow.
I think its helping bit hard to tell after only 4 weeks

SOTD Chanel 5. Cold and so windy here too - our cat went out at lunchtime and was gone for ages, and I was vaguely nervous she had blown away! She was just sitting under a bush next door, watching the storm.

Good luck with your migraine injection @Opal8. I really hope it brings you some relief. Migraine is such a horrible condition - it just seems to steal whole chunks out of my week.

They are indeed awful

My sympathies about the migraines, they are awful things. I suffered badly from age 13 all the way through to my late 40s apart from when I was pregnant or breastfeeding, then they vanished completely with the menopause - for which I'll be eternally grateful.

Horrible day here, very cold, so as it felt wintry again SOTD was Shalimar.

Another migraine sufferer here. Bright light is a trigger for me, particularly my office lights and I often have to go to bed as soon as I get home from work. I might talk to the doctor about injections, I didn’t know that was an option.

I wore MMM Beach Walk yesterday, despite the cold. I wanted something to make me think of warm weather. I think it actually might be a bit literal on a really hot day, like you were actually wearing sunscreen.

I really like this. It's a boozy gourmand. But at £170 for 50mls I'll stick with 4160tuesdays captured By Candlelight! (Whichis also a gorgeous boozy gourmand)

I absolutely love the idea of the angels’ share in whiskey making. Maybe I need to find a sample of that.
