I've just been watching the brilliant fictional AC12 team interviewing Boris in the latest Led by Donkeys - so so clever.

Just sprayed a new blind buy, Serge Lutens La Religieuse. Strong white floral, lovely

Todays sotd will be pp mmm btf layered with the shower gel and body cream

Taking mum to drs today then a funeral memorial this afternoon

I've managed to get an appointment on 31st for neurology to discuss injections for my migraines...🤞

SOTD is Sardonyx Fire by & Other Stories. I think it's a dupe for Jo Malone Velvet Rose and Oud.

@Lalalablahblahblah its a strong white floral with something fresh in the background that stops it from smelling purely like bubblegum! that freshness i think means you could wear it on a summer evening but i think it would be too strong for during the day, nice in winter as well i think, the strong floral edge to it makes it seem creamy and lush int he cold air but yeah i think you could wear it in summer too just maybe not when it was super humid, you know?

Good luck at the hospital @Opal8, I hope the injections give you some relief.🤞Migraines are just awful; I must have had one every other day last week, and they honestly seem to completely ruin the whole day.

Amber Absolute is fab. Also have never get No.5, but need to try it again.

Sotd Mitsouko from the Guerlain counter, it wasn't meant to be my sotd but the woman doused me with it!
Loved the opening, got almost a whiff of terps, am undecided on the drydown as it's evoking a memory I can't quite grasp...

Opal8 Hope all goes well with the appointment. Migraines are so debilitating, I get clusters of them with aura. Luckily perfume is not a trigger for me.

Sotd is Versace crystal noir. I feel like a boss when I wear this and I always get folk asking what Im wearing.

Hi are there any Perfumer H fanns here who can help me choose 3x samples? I definately want Gold after @Fferny1 described it the other day but what else? Ink and Cucumber sound good but so does Indian Wood and I’ve probably only looked at half the site and there are very few fragrantica entries.

I like wood, amber, smoke, incense and greenery and can be fussy about citrus - though I find bergamot addictive (if fleeting) and CdG x Monocle’s Sugi is my favourite summer fragrance. For winter Bois d’ascese is a regular SOTD.

Vanilla,sweet and floral are not for me though I make an exception for MMM’s by the Fireplace and Penhaligon’s Much ado about The Duke. I like a lot of DS&Durga offerings (Bowmakers, Cowboy Grass) with wood, resin and herbs.

Well my favourites so far whether that helps or not are Lemon Tree, Gold and Moss so far. I do have several samples i could swop with you. And If you find one you like i know a man with decants... I'm desperate to try Velvet as its meant to be a beautiful Chypre. I also have decants of Frankincense, Moss & Gold & samples of Moss, Snowdrop, Rose Pink, Rain Wood, Rain Moss, Ink & a couple of others i think.

SOTD has been Opium - the swirling spices and smoky incense were so warm and comforting, perfect for a shopping trip on this beautifully cold and crisp day. ❄️☃️

for Amber choose Amber😁
Smoke choose White Smoke
For Incense choose Incense Water.

i must say i havent tried any of them yet.

I have a sample of Indian Wood and its not really for me.

So much to think about there @Cantonet , I’m impressed by how many you already have access to. I’ve basically listed 5 in addition to Gold and asked the Perfumer H folk to choose the other 2 or something else based on my like/dislikes. I included Moss and Incense Water and flagged that I’m keen for something fresh and green that is not citrus forward though I must say her ‘fern’ family scents dont come across as very green from the descriptions. I’m so happy with Bois d’ascèse that I’m not looking for anything else smoky when there are so many other things to explore. I’ll let you know jow I get on and lookforward to hearing how you get on with the other decants/samples.

Really struggling to post at the moment, I think ads seem to be slowing everything down - anyone else? SOTD Miss Dior which it is really too chilly for.
