I want a new scent, a little sweet, but not ott

Something I can buy a sample of? I've made a note of sample sites listed on another thread, but unsure what to try. I'd like something warm and comforting, suitable for winter. Maybe with a hint of ginger or cinnamon? I used to like Flowerbomb, but after a while found it too sweet. Also used to wear JPG, classic. I quite like Armani Si.

Any suggestions welcome!

You mentioned you like cinnamon, so I would recommend Angel's Share by Kilian. It's a lovely warm spicy for winter. It isn't particularly cheap, but you can find dupes - I believe KDJ Inspired do a dupe of this and also sell samples.

Thank you. I do like cinnamon, but the perfume has to also be fairly sweet.

I've not tried any SJP perfumes. I'll look for a sample, and for the others.

Today I tried Givenchy Irresistible, very nice! Tomorrow I'm trying By The Fireplace. Still waiting for some samples to arrive.

Girl of Now by Elie Saab could be a good one for you, OP!
It's almost almondy - sweet but warm and wintery and absolutely delicious.

Tiffany Rose Gold is lovely

I went with Jinny Choo I Want Choo today. I didn't like the top note much, something old fashioned about it, but I very much liked the bottom note, mellow and sweet.

Jo Malone Scarlet Poppy, is the perfect combination.

The Jo Malone ones I've tried so far have been too floral for me. I'll have a look at it though.

I think I got the wrong Maison perfume, I got Lazy Sunday Morning. I'll look for the Fireplace one next.

Yesterday I tried the Maison Lazy Sunday Morning, it was a bit too sharp for me, not sweet enough - but it also wasn't the one recommended here so no wonder!

Today I'm wearing Alien, not that keen so far. There's something about it I don't like, again I think it's a bit of a sharp edge, not warm enough maybe.

I'm really liking olympea at the moment. Used to love jpg. Worth a try I got some samples off eBay a while back

Black Opium is a great warm, wintery scent which I swear by! If you want something a little more subtle and sweet I really love Joe Malone's scents. Yes, they may be a little more pricey but they're totally worth it and last you a long while!

Today's sample is Givenchy Interdit, not one listed here, but I thought it sounded nice. I quite like it, but it's not lasted very well, I can just smell it, but it's faint.
