I've just treated myself to a few bargains from Gemporia. I don't usually do big flashy stones, but fancied something a bit different and these did not disappoint. Not to everyone's taste I know, but I love them! Please show me yours

This was my mum’s engagement ring. It’s very thin now, and the local jeweller told me it only has a couple of years left in it before it will wear through completely. I’ll be devastated - I’ve worn it ever since my mum died.

That's really beautiful. What year (roughly) is it from, out of curiosity?

46 it's a QVC Diamonique Tanzanite

Tanzanite in it's real form can vary in colour from a lilac-ry to a blue/purple .
The simulation is a AAAA grade , stone is big so shows all flashes of colour from red to green to yellow .
It's one I wear if I'm feeling flashy but it was £25 so if it got lost or damaged I wouldn't be too gutted !

My mum's engagement ring is kind of similar and would have been from around the same time. I love cluster style rings, they are so pretty.

It was a bit of an impulse buy at an antique fair in the summer. We lost my DD at 22 weeks last year, and her birthstone is sapphire, so had been looking for a sapphire ring and I couldn't not bring this one home.

Surprise DD2 is due in April, her birthstone will be diamond - I reckon DD1 planned it, so I didn't have to buy a new ring 😂

@RollneckJumper thank you. I bought from a local jewellers that sells new and antique/pre loved/Second hand (!) jewellery. I don't know how old it was when I got it about 15 years ago. (It's platinum and diamonds)

This is my “family” ring. Our names are engraved inside each of the three (then four) interconnected rings.

I wear this one every day. It was my grandmother's, she had it made for her when she was in her 20's, so would have been late 1930's. I've had it since I was 16 as I inherited it when she died and I love it. Excuse the fat fingers and dry skin I'm rocking my winter hands at the moment
