Have seen a few old threads like this so stole the idea hoping for some inspirationBlush

I'm currently living in leggings and jumpers, or baggy dresses and tights. I've recently lost just over 2 stone and hoping to lose more. My body size/type is already changing but I just don't know how to dress. I am 5ft4 and around a size 18 now. I don't really like my stomach area, and I have chunky arms and thighs and big boobs

Would love to know where everyone gets their clothes from and also some inspiration for outfit ideas. I usually use ASOS, Boohoo, New Look etc but finding that everywhere has crop tops etc which I really don't wantGrin

Sorry @wordlehurdle posted too soon then! I’m similar in that I’m bigger on the top than on the bottom (due to boobs and a big tummy🙄) and if I’m wearing a dress I tend to go for floaty so it doesn’t cling, and then wear a belt or tie waist

I get a lot of my clothing from Yours, ASOS, New Look etc, but Simply Be do some nice smart dresses, and I believe Coast also do bigger sizes now

Thankyou!,
The wedding is in August.
I've got an emergency outfit so if the worst comes to the worst!
I just loved the idea on here of women enjoying clothes and looking wonderful in the photographs.
Think I've just spent a lifetime waiting to be thin and then I would suddenly be stylish.
Think you've all made me think why not now?.

@wordlehurdle this probably sounds really strangeGrin but following people on social media of a similar body shape/size to me has helped me like myself and be more accepting of my body

Also, I once saw a girl post a video in a lovely dress, and she was talking about how people will know you’re fat whether you’re wearing a tight dress or a big baggy T-shirt, so you may as well wear the dress you want to wear or the outfit that you like. It really made me realise that a lot of things I wore were because I felt I should cover up and hide myself, and it’s really helped me find it easier to try out new styles, and things I never would have dreamed of wearing in the past

Please excuse the horrendous lighting! But I went into my local Asda at the weekend and they had so many nice clothes in, and all in a really good range of sizes! Picked up this button up dress for £16! Really good quality and thick material. Wearing it for work today, but could easily dress it up or down. I could have spent a fortune in there!
