HNY everyone! Hope 2022 is awesome for you all. Quiet Hogmanay here, and just chilled and watched films yesterday with PurplecatDog, my bf and various cats. Have managed to get dressed today so might post a dog walking outfit pic later, lol. It’s a slouchy dress and Big Socks just now..

I’ve been eyeing up those NRBY joggers, are they warm? They are pricey so was wondering how they wash and wear (ie do they ‘knee’?)

Super warm when I got up this morning but the weather seems to have changed this afternoon and we've had an absolute deluge of rain, which poor DS and DH got caught up in whilst walking the dogs. Not sure my little Shorthaired Pointer will ever forgive DH, she HATES the rain. I stayed in the warm to get some work done, which I was initially sad about when they went off in the sunshine but less sad about when they came home looking like drowned rats! 😂

Made slightly more of an effort today in that I'm wearing make up for the first time since Boxing Day - got a box of Mac lipsticks as a gift so I'm enjoying experimenting with all the colours! Still warm and cosy, though, in a teddy fleece jumper/dress. I bought it to wear with leggings so I could be warm and still look vaguely pulled together when out and about walking and at the park with DS etc. but it's nice and snuggly so will be great for wfh as I try to avoid turning the heating on too much during the day.

Glad you are feeling better toasti. Been a beautiful day here, lovely sunshine and still quite mild.
I am taking all the decorations down today 😢 always a bit sad to see them go for another year. Also got a million loads of washing to do having waved goodbye to my parents who have been here for several days. Eldest DS is heading back to uni in Bath tomorrow as well so feeling a bit glum and the house feels very quiet!

@Karmatime thank you that's really kind! The. NRBY joggers are amazing, so comfortable and soft and I find them warm but I haven't really worn them outside the house. I have found that the returns are really easy for NRBY so I'd recommend trying them, they are the Lila as far as I can remember

I’ve been living in leggings so no outfits to post, but a friend has just given me two bags of maternity clothes so once I’m back at work on Tuesday I should have some outfits worth photographing!

How was your swim @Softpebbles? I have had some beautiful ones the last week, air temp so mild I can actually in for more than a few minutes and swim and not take ages to warm up afterwards

@EllaPaella ah it was just so nice. Water temp just under 10 and having started steroids I was able to swim my usually lap plus a little extra bit as I just didn’t want to get out due to it being so nice. It was really sunny too!

I’m booked again on Saturday! No doubt the temperature will have dropped again by then!

I would love to be close to the sea!

Nothing day for us to although walked around the park with DS & Dsis without getting soaked so all good.

What are the thoughts on this Mint Velvet bodysuit? I like the back and the sleeve details not sure on the higher neck. Have to return this one anyway as one of the poppers is broken.

Yes I like the bodysuit @Sickofpineneedles but it depends on how high you want the neck.

Very casual day today, last day of DHs holiday and expecting the next few weeks to be crazy for him ( and all nhs staff). So, nice activities today

I hope everyone has had a reasonably good break over Christmas and new year. It’s seemed very long this year!

I’m not sure about the bodysuit @Sickofpineneedles. It’s perfectly nice, but there isn’t really anything special about it. If you don’t love everything about it, then I’d save the money for something else.

I’ve still got another week before I go back to work @Sooverthemill. I’ve already been off for 2 weeks. I had a lot of holiday to use up! I think the DC are back at school/college on Wednesday though.

I’m wearing a new blouse (Christmas present from DH). But I’m going to try and stop spending on clothes for a bit. So tell me off if you see me in anything new in the next month or so!

I'm going to try less buying this year also or more conscious buying.

I am definitely more of a conscious shopper now days. My proud sale purchase is socks from white stuff!

Today jeans, T-shirts, tank top from mint velvet. Long muddy walk with the dog. Was so lovely I had my coats off for part of it!

I am going to try really hard not to buy any new clothes after today for the rest of winter. I do not need anymore so happy to also be told off, I'll make myself accountable to you all!
But.. I did make a purchase today White converse high-tops with a chunky sole. That's it for me now - when I buy again I am going to try and stick to local boutiques and wherever possible ethically sourced clothes.
Today we had a lovely long walk and stayed out for brunch. Had a lovely sausage and egg muffin and then a slow walk back through our village as DS2 wanted to browse some shops as he has a bit of birthday money left.

Should be getting organised for work, tidying up, decluttering, or at least doing something other than slothing around - oh well! Dress is from Forbidden Tribes, with an old Armani scarf and Hush boots. And yes, PurplecatDog’s nose has ‘nosed’ into the pic as well!

I sold my Hush ones as they were just a bit too sparkly and I wanted a more platform sole. Those are the ones I have ordered @Softpebbles except I've gone for white 👌

I didn't get dressed until about 2pm today - and am now back in my comfies! We went to DM's for tea or I may not have bothered at all  Got lots done though - decorations are down (), walking boots cleaned after a VERY muddy walk yesterday and everything ready for back to school and work tomorrow.
