So many gorgeous looks since I was last here. Loving your look in that dress @PalacePaper I do wish I felt more at ease wearing a wide belt. I love them on others and I keep buying them, but never really confident in my look wearing them 🤷‍♀️

I just bought this dress for a great price in the sale at Great Plains. I have never purchased from them before and I’m delighted with the quality and speed of delivery.

I think I’ve only posted here a couple of times but I hope you don’t mind me saying that dress looks amazing, it really suits your colouring. I think you can have an amazing top/dress and it’ll look great on one person and awful on another, depending on your skin tone, hair colour etc, and this is definitely a winner on you.

Last night ( poor DH 3 flights) and we decorated it and will put the presents under later. It’s exciting as there’s a rather large pile and we have stuffed stockings. Have a fabulous day

So sorry to read about all of your problems @Sooverthemill I do hope your daughter improves enough to enjoy some of Christmas and recovers fully quickly. Vitamin D deficiency is common in the UK. Even in Summer, we often don’t get enough from Sunlight.

Yes @AnnieSnap I know but I don't go outside in the winter ever except to the garage and I have a blood test every December because I had cancer and I've never in all those years been deficient before. Though last year the government gave me free vitamin D tablets ass they were still advising CEV people didn't go out. I literally spent my life indoors every October to March every single year for last 9 years. Just odd it's this year? Roll on spring when I can sit outside again

@Sooverthemill sorry to hear about your health problems. Spring is on its way. The shortest day has been and gone. 💐

@Sooverthemill merry christmas- hope dd ok. I have taken the highest strength vit D for at least the last two years, i'm sure you're sorted but you can buy the high strength tablets pretty cheap on amazon.

It's just me, DH and kids so no effort required and I love it. Slumped on sofa now with wine and watching home alone 2. Enjoy your evenings 😊🥂

@EllaPaella that sounds very cosy! I cannot stay in PJs past my yoga session in the morning. My mother ( long gone) would dress before she even had her first cup of tea! I'm on a prescription dose. I'm sure it's a blip not in the slightest bit concerned just think it's odd as my lifestyle hasn't changed in 9 years. It was the scary GP I spoke to so I didn't argue

So now Christmas is over I’m going to have to tidy my bedroom!

We had such a lovely day yesterday I hope everyone else did too. Tricky around DD but we managed to all eat in her room for the first time ever since 2013 so I feel blessed

I’m glad you had a lovely day yesterday @Sooverthemill. We did too (once DD got back from work). My teenagers are quite good company, and I think I prefer the calmness that comes with not having little children anymore.

I seem disinclined to wear festive clothing this year. So I’m not forcing myself.
