Ah thanks so much everyone!
I love getting dressed up at Christmas, even if most of it was spent applying liberal amounts of Poxclin to poor DS. He's really perked up today and we managed a full night's sleep so I'm really hopeful he's on the mend!
@Justonedayatatime11 thats extremely kind, thank you! Can assure you it's definitely not the case, though, I just tend to post the days when I look at least vaguely put together. 🤣 I'm so sorry to hear that you've been so unwell. How are you feeling now?
@EllaPaella definitely go for it if you've been eyeing up the jumper, I've worn it absolutely loads since I bought it, it's so easy just to throw on and very comfy!
@Sooverthemill I love today's dungaree and shirt combo, you look great!
We travelled home from my parents' last night (spent Christmas with them despite the chickenpox as all the family have had it and everyone was happy to go ahead, my DM used to be a nurse, too, so it was nice to have her input as poor DS has been absolutely covered and so distressed some nights, so the support has been really helpful as I'm inclined to be anxious about all things DS related).
Yesterday -
Leggings - Yu + Me
Jumper - M&S
Boots - DMs
Bag - M&S, a Christmas pressie from DH
Headband - another from my best friend's shop.
Today we're having a very quiet day enjoying being back at home and back to a bit more of a routine. I'm trying to get some work done today, so snuggled up in my new lounge wear from M&S, a Christmas pressie from my parents, and Oonaie slippers, a pressie from my best friend. Btih are very soft and very warm and the hoodie and joggers black have little flecks of colour in them, which makes them a bit more interesting than just being plain black.
I took some bits back to Cos yesterday and tried on this long puffer coat and now I'm really lusting after it. I've been wanting a longline puffer for a while and this one fits the bill - double zip so I can move my legs, zip rather than poppers, nice colour (it's quite green in real life), not too puffy so I don't feel like the Michelin Man. I love it but its quite spendy (although I've found a 10% off code that works) so now trying to decide whether I can justify it or not. Felt genuinely sad when I left it behind in the shop yesterday, though...
