Even though the scales haven't really changed I can definitely see I e lost weight in this dress 🙌 next year I need to get fit and stay fit.

I'm off out today to see an immersive theatre show with the teens 😁

Jumper - Me & Em - new but sale - it's all @Shannith's fault for looking so amazing in her new boss clothes. I love the double cuffs and the roll neck is detachable! So, so cosy. See other photo from website for "sans neck"

I ordered a few layering tops from them too - love the idea of a comfy top but with frilly neck and cuffs to make wearing it under a jumper more interesting.

When I went for blood test I wore ancient Clark ankle boots and black coat with a lovely scarf I got in Liberty sale

That's a clever idea to have a detachable roll neck i'd get way more wear from a jumper that does that. It looks good on you @20FlowerPower

I love the Eribe sweaters @EllaPaella, @Sooverthemill and @PalacePaper. Perhaps it's just as well they are sold out or I would be very tempted. Dress white stuff, cardigan primark.

Hope you are all feeling festive? We were meant to go to the panto tonight but sadly it's been cancelled due to the cast all having covid 🤧
It's been a busy week and a busy day at work so actually I am quite relieved just to be able to sit down with a glass of fizz and chill.
Just made the Christmas desserts (pannecotta and pistachio tiramisu) and prepped a joint of pork for tomorrow. DH and I both have very sore throats so hoping that doesn't escalate over the next two days - his is red raw!
Finally finished all my wrapping so time to sot back and chill.
I've been wearing my eribe jumper all week @PalacePaper - feels so festive! I have had so many compliments on it as well which is always nice.

@EllaPaella apart from the sore throats that sounds fab. Christmas Eve is tree decorating day in our family plus present wrapping. No special food until the day itself ( and in fact most of our Xmas food didn't come from any of the online orders! I have a Turkey though). I plan to help DD make some decorations, maybe watch a Christmas film and hopefully have an early night tomorrow.

@OublietteBravo I tried on my go to xmas velvet jeans today ( Richmond from jigsaw) and they look so wrong! I need to get a straight pair!

I hope the sore throats go away quickly @EllaPaella. I’m amazing that we’ve made it to Christmas Eve without anyone coming down with anything (although DH is convinced he has omicron because he sneezed twice yesterday - despite having no other symptoms and a negative LFT ).

I haven’t really worn much velvet this year @Sooverthemill. I’m not really sure why. I have a beautiful pair of trousers from Hobbs that aren’t skinny (and a pair of leggings from Mint Velvet that are).

@MamaOdie I'm normally a size 8-10 and went for the small. It's lovely and soft and comfy....
