I’m hoping I’ve been here long enough to be allowed to start the new thread. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone’s outfits as we move into my favourite fashion season.

@Sickoffamilydrama yes that jumper/skirt combo is fabulous

New blouse today ( eBay earnings)
Blouse: lolly’s laundry ( kept seeing it and wanting it)
Jeans: Baukjen relaxed ( quite old 2019?)
Shoes: air and grace new and being worn in though very comfortable

Black/grey small stripe leggings again (a different, clean pair though!)
Long-sleeved long-length top, Bamboo Clothing.
Navy knit jumper, GapKids boys' in the largest size (cheaper and a better fit than the Gap women's section!)
More Nordic socks.

Hello everyone- lovely outfits as usual. I'm feeling a bit sorry for myself as I have that horrible cold that's going round - nose running like a tap, heads hurts, face hurts, eyes hurt and can't smell or taste a thing. Feeling a bit fed up as can't do my usual sea swim and it's the perfect day for it.
Hanging round the house today as car is in for MOT as well so I'm entertaining myself by making a start on buying a few presents for the kids for xmas (I know I know).
Today comfy Hush coated jeans (these are so soft and stretchy) and jumper from Vila again which is also the thickest, softest, non itchy jumper I own.

@EllaPaella i love your outfit. Are those jeans current? Also, what is your jumper made of so as not to be itchy? I have very sensitive skin and can’t wear anything remotely itchy like wool or acrylic. But I want to be warm and cosy in winter. I’ve searched for cotton jumpers etc but nothing very attractive comes up! Does anyone have any suggestions please?

I’ve been following along for ideas on & off for a couple of weeks now but as I am in a complete clothes rut and am basically getting rid of most things & trying to start over I’m not really in a position to post any pics. Any advice for starting
over would be appreciated. I’ve put on a few pounds, all my clothes are too tight, I’m perimenopausal and feel pretty awful about how I look right now.

@EllaPaella and where are your shoes from please?

Very boring today - Zara blue jumper v neck (posted link here this week), Intimissi black v neck lace trim vest under it, M&S jeggings, Karl Lagerfeld Maison trainers, diamante snake drop earrings.

The jumper is elastine, acrylic and wool mix.

@Littlemiss74 sorry to hear you are feeling on a downer about yourself. I find that hormone fluctuations massively influence how I feel about myself. Sometimes I feel great and other times just feel like nothing feels or looks right. I'm 42 now and have found this last year my body seems to have changed quite a lot despite not really doing anything different.
I'm glad you are enjoying the thread and finding it helpful.

OMG, sooo cold today. Working at home so shoved a sleeveless knit from Me and Em on over the top of an old tee from an ASOS sale, and leggings from Fabletics many eons ago. Slouchy socks which I love are from Marks. PurplecatDog is my shadow as usual, lol

WFH this morning and now off on a dog walk so jeans and jumper today.Not sure about the colour of this jumper but think it will look good with a black blazer I have ordered.

Brutal honesty needed!
Boots ive wanted for soooo long have arrived and now I feel a bit meh 😬

I like the colour and the zip, but don't like the tassel and the style/stitching at the top of the boot.
That's probably not helpful because if you like the style you do and if you don't you don't...
I think they fit you well.

@Softpebbles are they the Imperial Explorers? I think they're lovely but depends what you want them for. They're more of a "work" boot than the Regina, I think. For the money, if you feel meh then I'd send them back. You can buy just as nice for less money and personally, if it's not immediate love then I wouldn't want them for the money they cost.

@Softpebbles I'm not keen but it's because there's a tassle but that's what they are supposed to have! I think you should ponder for 48 hours and if still not 100% return them.

I think you should instantly fall in love with a pair of shoes of boots and if you don't then send them back. They are nice boots but if you're not 100% in love with them I would save your money and find something else that you absolutely love.

They are the valvedere Botas boots. The use will predominantly be stopping about with the dog. So for a purpose.

I knew it was a gamble so sending back is a nightmare but I could sell on!

I do love them just don’t feel confident 🤦‍♀️
