I am wearing this for a black tie event as I have been nominated for an industry award and I am starting to waiver.

I have bought a strapless stick on bra, so my fried eggs look a lot better so please disregard my lovely pair in the picture.

Hair will be in a french pleat and I am wearing nude heels. Do you think I can carry it off?

You can definitely pull it off. Your figure is fab, the colour is lovely and the back is amazing. I'm not wild about the metal bit of the belt at the front but maybe gold shoes with it would bring it 'in' to the outfit, I'd you see what I mean.
Do wear the stick on bra thing. I'm other end of the boob spectrum to you but whatever size you are, your bust line/shape makes a big difference to how a dress hangs.
If it's a work related awards thing would you out something over your shoulders (even a black pashmina) to arrive and for first hour or two?

@WineIsMyCarb I was going to arrive wearing my All Saints biker jacket over my shoulders but maybe a pashmina would look more classy.

Quite long @Palavah. 3 inches past my shoulders. I have 3 hours to get ready at the hotel so I have time to curl it.

I’m tempted, I treated myself to the Dalby from All Saints after a promotion during Lockdown 1.0 and I haven’t got to wear it much.

I also vote biker jacket and think gold shoes would look fab, but I’d stick with your hair up to draw attention to the back of the dress.
