I am wearing this for a black tie event as I have been nominated for an industry award and I am starting to waiver.

I have bought a strapless stick on bra, so my fried eggs look a lot better so please disregard my lovely pair in the picture.

Hair will be in a french pleat and I am wearing nude heels. Do you think I can carry it off?

I do @AdaColeman. Definitely wearing earrings as my hair will be up, and I can’t wear a necklace with that neckline.

I would go for non dangling earrings, to let the uncluttered line of the dress really dominate, and the gold of the earrings at face level will draw the eye smoothly through the line.

You have excellent arms and shoulders! And the colour is perfect 👍🏻 I have a question and a request:

1. is the belt removable? If so, could we see a picture without?

2. Does the waistline feel comfortable sitting down as well as standing up? And will your event involve a long dinner/many speeches?

I only ask about the waist because it looks perfect standing up BUT I have made the mistake (several times) of not taking into account the fact that after a meal and a few hours sitting our waistlines tend to want to expand a little.

Also, when I say french pleat, I mean like a chignon, not a plait, if that makes a difference. And it would be messy too.

It looks lovely. But a stick on bra may cause probs where there are none.

I’d suggest whenever you have a special event, if you are going for anything other than your standard bra style, give it a good “try innings” at home first.
