I’ve never been tempted by H&B. There are only three products I’d be interested in trying this year, worth under £20.

I got caught up I'm the moment and ordered based on all the raving reviews from last year and the price.

H&B sold out within 3 weeks last year apparently.

I've just ordered the H&B. I had £3 worth of reward points, and ordered through Quidco so got £3+ cash back. Bargain!

I've just ordered the H&B one! Quite satisfied now with Rituals and H&B - how frugal I have been
Although if we win on Premium Bonds, I'm so going after a really luxurious one.
H&B must be so chuffed with how fast their AC sells out, but to be fair, apart from a couple of daft items, I think it's great value.

I loved that Ethique face bar from last year's H&B too!

So tempted to order now it is out but I'm going to resist. Like a pp, there's only a few things there I want/need skincare wise this year and the selection just doesn't 'feel' as inspiring...

I've yet to buy teen DD one - thanks to posters for the suggestions up thread as I'm going to get her the Ted Baker one!

M&S have their advent beauty calendar coming soon on their website. It’s the tin thing but they are definitely referring to a calendar.

Does anyone know if the Next one comes back in stock?

@Plump82, the Next calendar hasn’t yet gone on sale. According to the beauty advent calendar website, it goes on sale on September 15th (so this week Wednesday).

Ah ok. I thought it had as its showing unavailable which I took to meaning sold out.

I don't know. Looking at the size of it, unless it is much deeper than it looks, that couldn't be a 24 day one. I'm afraid it may be a 12 day one like they did last year.

Yeah, it’s pretty tiny. Last year’s 12 days was Autograph, wasn’t it? Even if not 24 days, I hope this one is multi-brand at least.

Pretty unlikely I'd say. The previous year, the 12 day one was Formula, so single brand too.

Unless they actually listened to what people were saying and realise we all want a 24 day, multi-brand calendar. However, if any of the companies making the calendars listened, there would be no black eyeliners, no nars orgasm etc.

I do hope John Lewis come up with something better than the Cult Beauty, Space NK offerings this year.

Another vote for Aldi. £3.49 rip off Jo Malone one. I think the one I go for may have basil on the title. Want to say No1 or No3, but can't remember.

I’m still optimistic that the tin will be a proper 25 item multi-brand calendar. This year’s summer bag was a lot smaller than the tin looks, and they managed to squeeze 11 items inside.

So I’m going to be positive and guess that it’s bigger and deeper than it looks and we’ll get a proper calendar this year.

In previous years, it only went on sale at the start of November, so a while to wait yet!

In case it’s not clear, was referring to the M&S calendar!

My MiL bought me the summer bag and it did have a huge amount in it for the size.

We don't actually know that it is a tin. It's just a graphic so could be anything and may not even be related to the design of the calendar
