The reason I liked it so much last year was because I wanted to try out the particular Protect and perfect range that was in it. I only bought it because M&S weren't doing there's and then I bought the JL AC as well which I loved

@Ponks it does indeed! I like it. But the intended recipients are big The White Company fans, and I wonder if they’d initially get really excited and then realise that no it isn’t a TWCompany advent calendar after al and then be disappointed. I’d love to get TWCompany but it is £175 which is way over bidge.

@Ponks thank you so much- I really appreciate the idea - but it would be seen as quite twee. Again, I would like it myself, but not the recipients, I don’t think. They range from mid twenties to fifty yo.

Space NK are doing £15 off each £60 spend but it doesn't seem to work with the calendar... I've only tried on my phone tho

I was just coming on to say I've checked with Space CS and it was an error. How disappointing as they do normally do that this time of year. I'm hoping it means they'll be doing it later in the week, it does usually run over the weekend I think.

@HoppSuisse thanks! I think the h&b one is the closest I have come to being happy! A little functional, but overall a great variety and excellent sizes. I am toying - at the moment it’s between that and the £55 Occitane one (even though I’ve bought them Occitane once before).

I'm a bit surprised at H&B. I'd bought the advent calendar the same morning the preview email came out. Not heard anything from them, so I emailed a few days ago to see what was up.
They've just casually said it's lost in transit and do I want a refund or the calendar. Erm, the calendar please!Confused
No apology and they didn't seem overly interested in being helpful.
I've bought from them before and they've always been pretty good, but don't lose a woman's advent calendar and be all unbothered about it Grin

@Housewife2010, yes, I’ve never heard of Flannels! Trying to decide if I like it. Like the other similar calendars, it’s pretty mixed with good and less good stuff. Why have 4 lipstick type products?

Really struggling to choose which luxe calendar to go for this year. I definitely want one, but quite a few are good, but not great: for me it’s between NaP, Cult Beauty, Selfridges, John Lewis, Harrods (if not stupidly expensive) and now this Flannels one…

A few weeks ago Harper's Bazaar announced it was 12th October but no idea where that came from as not seen it reported anywhere else.

@PomRuns, that pretty much describes how I feel too right now, BUT I’m telling myself that (a) Harrods is going to be hideously expensive and (b) as I’ve made myself ‘forget’ the bulk of the contents of F&M I’m going to be pleasantly surprised when I open it 🤞

The fortnums does look lovely and festive and they are several things I’m really keen to try.

Oh yes @PomRuns, I’ll definitely get Harrods if it’s around £200! I fear we are going to be disappointed though - I’ve just checked and last year Harrods was £250 for contents worth £700 - £800. This year the contents are £1100+ (with a fair number of full sizes) so I’m sure it’s going to cost more, sadly. I live in hope though 🤞😂
