Ah. HRT has sorted that for me... Smile

neveradullmoment99 · 15/10/2021 12:29

Does it look good without the belt? I'm not a belt person.

NoCureForLove · 15/10/2021 12:29

I may attempt photos...

Would love to see!
Laska2Meryls · 15/10/2021 12:34

Well that's my Christmas decoration indulgences sorted .. ordered the Table gifts and the hanging star set .. I do love a new decoration and those stars are lovely

Table gifts will be just for DH and I (we'll have them for little celebrations between Christmas and New Year when we are on our own) .... I cant possibly give them away! Grin

Laska2Meryls · 15/10/2021 12:42

Ok one last attempt to convince you all and myself!

NoCureForLove · 15/10/2021 12:45

It's yourself you have to convince Laksa! I don't think you're convinced...

NoCureForLove · 15/10/2021 12:45

No periods for me. But I didn't start HRT until after my periods stopped...

Laska2Meryls · 15/10/2021 12:46

Do any of you envisage the men in your lives wearing anything from the Toast mens collection? Mine wouldn't, but there are some things that I d like to see him in.. the wool grid Guernsey sweater for example ( id like to buy it for him for Christmas then nick it !😂)

Laska2Meryls · 15/10/2021 12:47

I think I am !

With and without belt. Dark navy makes it hard to see details?

I’ve got the M in the blue jerkin and I’m a busty 12, it feels the right size on me, although it’s taken me a bit of wardrobe sorting to find the clothes it looks good with.
I think the L would be better @Laska2Meryls , it’s a shame you can’t find one to try.

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 15/10/2021 13:19

@neveradullmoment99

HRT here as well and no periods. That may have been because I had the Mirena as my original HRT, although I’ve moved on to tablets now.

SirVixofVixHall · 15/10/2021 13:22

Anyone else find that Toast doesn’t cut well for a bigger bust ? I have been buying from them since they started out, but I would think their main customer base now is middle aged women, yet they seem to forget about breasts.

faustina · 15/10/2021 14:15

@Laska2Meryls I used to buy a few things from the menswear for ds2 - it was all really good quality and interesting too - a coat modelled on a ww1 jacket I seem to remember.

Here's my new corduroy jacket from kin with the toast denim dress which I wear loads ( sans mushroom sadly).

faustina · 15/10/2021 14:18

@NoCureForLove.- that looks much nicer on you than the model! With and without the belt - what a find!

@SirVixofVixHall - I actually think they're quite good nowadays about that - mind you, I avoid anything that says it's a neat fit

NoCureForLove · 15/10/2021 14:25

Thank you! 《curtseys》

neveradullmoment99 · 15/10/2021 16:08

Yes looks fab! Looks good either waySmile

JustforToast · 15/10/2021 16:11

@NoCureForLove I have been thinking about that cord dress as I think it’s gorgeous but I am short waisted and no waisted so anything with a tied waist doesn’t suit me.

I have a bit of a boden moment this week and bought this

www.boden.co.uk/en-gb/relaxed-rib-sleeveless-jumper-ivory/sty-k0496-ivo?cat=C1_S2_G6

I’m hoping it will unlock my selection of shirts and blouses that I love but struggle to find an outfit for.

ilovecherries · 15/10/2021 16:23

I have an almost identical vest from Hush. I love it, it goes with everything. I wear it with dresses and shirts.

I love the boden dress but can’t make out if it has a waist seam? These are never in the right place for me on Boden dresses. I don’t know if my chest pulls the waist too high or what but I always look crap in them. Love the copper (which wouldn’t suit me sadly) and the Figgy Pudding, which probably would.

NoCureForLove · 15/10/2021 16:31

No waist seam Cherries. If you enlarge my unbelted photo you can see? First horizontal seam is the first 'tier'. You can give it a waist with the belt. Or not.

TheChattyRat · 15/10/2021 17:36

Lovely dresses, wish the boden one came in the kin colourway.
Nice to hear about eBay swaps. I also wonder if I have bought / sold to one of you Grin
laksa I feel your style would be more for the denim jerkin rather than floral? I think the proportions are not quite right with the longer too but you could experiment to make it work - it looks good with the dress for example.
I've won a green poplin jumpsuit on eBay (from one of you perchance?) - but nervous as never tried it before but hope it works.
And a wearing toast pic (dress another e bay score)

TheChattyRat · 15/10/2021 17:57

Also I can't link but I've seen some long gingham dresses on kate Sheridan and kemi Telford if the toast offering isn't so good.

neveradullmoment99 · 15/10/2021 19:17

I have ordered from KemiTelford before. Stuff was nice. Love the prints. The tee was too big for me so I returned the lot. No free returns or the shipping was not refunded so was out of pocket by nearly £10 so was a bit peeved.
