That does look nice @faustina. I ordered the top version of that Kin dress and have just picked it up. It will look good with jeans and I will keep it. I sized down to a 10 (high street 12) and it has plenty of room.

I also ordered the Kin green tiered cord dress which i think i like enough to keep although again a size 10 and only just big enough in the bust. It also has a strange slit at the back on the collar which looks odd but is meant to be there. Really like that dress @faustina. I had a look the other day but didn’t spot any of these things you lot have seen. Might pop into JL tomorrow for a look.

My denim jerkin arrived, but I am really unsure about sizing. I ordered both S and M. S looks more like the Instagram photos of it, and fits over a dress or shirt, but given that I am bustier than their models, it doesn't hang quite the same. It is also too small to fit a sweater underneath or a few layers. The M fits sweaters or layers, but looks too big with just one layer underneath. Not sure which to keep. Those who have kept theirs, what size did you go for and what size do you usually wear? I am a Toast 10 or Small in tops usually.

@ScottishMouse - I've given up trying to look for things at my local JL - they have such a poor choice!

@ToastCosILoveIt - if you can bear it I would love to see a pic of the other dress and the cord shirt as I was also thinking of trying them. how odd about the slit on the back of the collar!

Love that dress @faustina, it’s sold out in a 10. I’m a high street 12, 10 in loose Toast dresses, 12 in Fitted Toast style dresses…. Do you think I’d be okay with an 8 or is that madness?

I love that dress Faustina, ans although I have very few dress wearing opportunities am v tempted.. you say that its a 6, what Toast size are you? .. both 10 and 12 are oos... I have Kin dresses in xs ... But should I try an 8 do you think? I am more like a 14/16 on top

ScottishMouse. Sadly my M in both jerkins have gone back.. I am just too busty for them..( And I dont reckon any L will be back )
But tbh I just think that it is too short.

Just ordered the green check dress in an 8…fingers crossed optimistically. Also the green cord dress in 10.
@faustina can I please ask what the fabric is like on the check dress? I’m not sure what Cupro feels like? Is it sort of a slightly silky cotton?

@AmethystMoonShine - it's lyocell - kind of silky. I would prefer cotton, but it's so nice I'm making an exception for this one! Quite thin, but drapes nicely and I think would be nice with a jumper on top when it gets colder

Fingers crossed for you and please show the cord dress when you try it on - would love to see it on real person!

@Saurus72, @ToastCosILoveIt, thanks so much for the feedback on the Fan Print dress. It’s actually ironed/steamed up pretty well and it is so lovely. My five-year-old (a much older mum here) says it is the most beautiful dress she has ever seen me wear. High praise indeed from a child who is only ever dressed (in her non-uniform time) as Elsa or Anna from Frozen.

I agree re the dress, it is a slow grower and I resisted buying it, then sent the 10 back in the Toast sale and then snapped up the 12 in the JL sale when there was a 12 randomly returned. I thought it was okay at first but each time I wear it I like it more and am really growing to love the shade of green that it is.

You lot made me spend loads of money

So I bought the needlecord Shirt Dress in Sycamore. I got an 18 which is my usual size, it's comically big. The colour is lovely. It is going back at its so big it's pretty unflattering. However the yoke is weirdly small. I'm a curvy 18 and bigger on my bottom half than top half so I find it odd that the yoke feels somewhat small and the sleeves really pull up my arms when I stretch forwards.

I also bought the Swingy Denim Dress in a size 14 as that is all they had left. That fits much better. Is it flattering though? I like their stuff but maybe I'm the wrong shape?

Thoughts please. Be brutal I can take it. I also don't want to spend £150 on a dress and look like a sack of spuds....

I'm going to be in Islington for the next 3 days with work so might pop into the shop whilst I'm there.

Another vote for the swingy dress - it looks lovely and also a bit unusual/interesting. There are lots of pictures on Instagram of people wearing that dress - maybe have a look and see how they style it?

I can only find it twice on instagram. How do I search it?

The ones I have seen the top on theirs is smaller the neck line gapes which I would prefer. Wondering if I should get smaller???! 🤷‍♀️
