Oh my goodness @JustforToast, you’re right! That is so ridiculous.

ilovecherries · 02/10/2021 19:30

@JustforToast

I’ve been mulling over the denim workwear dress and now realise that the model is wearing a mushroom in the breast pocket! I had thought it was some kind of golden scarf. Seriously?!
Nooooo!!! 🤣 I thought it was a silk scarf.
neveradullmoment99 · 02/10/2021 19:34

I though the mushroom was quite clever!

neveradullmoment99 · 02/10/2021 19:35

I think the pictures are like paintings. Rather beautiful imo.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/10/2021 19:37

Almost pre-raphelite/ bohemian

Laska2Meryls · 02/10/2021 19:54

A mushroom ? 🤣🤣

Laska2Meryls · 02/10/2021 19:58

Here is the Ukiyo Print Dhuggie, sorry the light is bad but I have tried to show you the pattern... its too big for me so I am sending it back and will re order smaller, but its such a beautiful fabric and print ..
Too good just for loungewear, I think that it would look fab with my slate Alix trousers

That's looks beautiful @Laska2Meryls Gorgeous print. Will be interested to see it modelled in the smaller size.

neveradullmoment99 · 02/10/2021 23:33

Is anyone else disappointed in the autumnal hue of the silk/velvet dressing gown this year?

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 03/10/2021 09:19

Woke up this morning, took the dog out, got home and suddenly remembered I saw the denim jerkin was back in stock at half past eleven last night and ordered it Grin . Too much encouragement on here, hope it’s going to be worth the cost as it’s the same price as the crinkled check dress I bought last month.

It took a while for me to convince myself to keep mine, almost entirely because of the cost against other clothes. But I have worn it a lot - much more than a dress because it looks different every time.
Theteapotsbrokenspout · 03/10/2021 09:46

I’m thinking that ilovecherries I’m only an occasional dress wearer so hopefully the jerkin will get at least as much wear. I also think it was you who said it added quite a lot of warmth and that’s always welcome.

Laska2Meryls · 03/10/2021 11:02

Oh dont worry teapot I have done the same - only I have both versions coming !🤦🤦🤦
I'm hoping in a way that they wont work on my 36es. And if they do that I hate one of them !!
Like I said previously, you lot are bad for my bank balance .. ! 🤣🤣

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 03/10/2021 11:53

@Laska2Meryls Grin

Saurus72 · 03/10/2021 14:27

Having insomnia has paid off - the fan print dress I really regretted not buying earlier this year suddenly came back into stock on JL at 4am yesterday - and now it’s mine, v happy 😊

Saurus72 · 03/10/2021 14:28

Oh, and should add bought at 70% discount - £54 instead of £180, v v happy making 🥳

ScottishMouse · 03/10/2021 14:40

It’s such a fab dress @Saurus72! I picked up one at Toast Circle, which I was delighted with. Haven’t had an occasion to wear it yet sadly, but look forward to doing so.

ScottishMouse · 03/10/2021 14:41

Still hoping a size small will pop up in the denim jerkin so I can join you jerkin lovers. I regret sending it back when I first ordered it now.

Saurus72 · 03/10/2021 14:45

@ScottishMouse - ah yes I remember you saying, it really is a good dress. I think I’ll wear mine for work, probably will start going into the office a bit now so will be good to have some lovely new things to wear.

ScottishMouse · 03/10/2021 14:56

Thanks for all your bag suggestions the other day ladies. I have decided to go with the Ally Capellino Natalie to use for days I need more than will fit in my tiny bag. Snapped one up with 30% off from Liberty - they have a promotion on just now. Will send back the full priced one that I luckily hadn’t used yet. Win!

SmaugMum · 03/10/2021 18:09

@Saurus72, snap! Ditto the insomnia and the Fan Print dress in black olive.

My favourite sport this summer has been stalking the JL website in the wee small hours and I’ve managed to snaffle the following beauties at 70 per cent off:

Cotton linen shorts (will go away for next summer’s camping trips)
Garment dyed linen jumpsuit in lilac blue (I think this is still on the Toast website at full price)
Cotton linen v-neck jumpsuit
Washed check organic cotton dress in raspberry (gorgeous fabric and a seriously under-rated dress, in my opinion)
Denim panel skirt (this will be a staple of my winter wardrobe)
Cotton linen Elena shirt in paper white
Cotton herringbone yoke shirt
Wool cotton herringbone trousers in black
Needlecord pleat dress in slate blue
Boiled wool cardigan in navy
Silk cotton foulard shirt in mustard paisley
Mila meadow print dress (the single most complimented garment I have ever worn and I would definitely have invested in the new Mila Bolete dress were it not sold out in all sizes on both the Toast and JL websites).

I think I’m fine for winter and next spring/summer!

I’m an infrequent dipper-inner but I really love looking at how you seriously stylish lot put together your Toast ensembles. Genuinely, thank you all for the pleasure you being.

SmaugMum · 03/10/2021 18:14

Bring not being!

Saurus72 · 03/10/2021 18:43

@SmaugMum that is one impressive list - 4am seems to be peak time. V jealous of the herringbone shirt at 70% off, that is another of my regrets. Maybe I’ll be able to track it down in a Toast sale. I agree about the raspberry dress being underrated - there was one size 12 marked down to £20 in my local JL but that was too big - even though I’m a real life solid size 14. I did regret not buying it and eBaying tho!

Theteapotsbrokenspout · 03/10/2021 19:24

That looks really good on you @Saurus72 .

Wow @SmaugMum I think we'll all be taking up nocturnal shopping now.
