@ScottishMouse

I also have a very small Kate Sheridan bag *@neveradullmoment99*, and mostly I use that and bring as little as possible with me. But sometimes I have days where I want to have a book with me on the off chance I get time for a quick read and maybe some water if I am going to be out all day. But maybe I should just stick to my free tote bag lady look because I would probably just bring a bigger bag and fill it with crap everyday if I had one.
This is me. I fill big bags with crap!

I’ve stopped carrying cash since covid, and have put the few loyalty cards I use onto my phone. That’s allowed me to ditch a purse completely. Debit card for tap and go, back up cc just in case it doesn’t work for any reason. It’s liberating.

faustina · 01/10/2021 05:56

Yes - I've ditched my purses - so lovely not to have all that weight of coins etc. I have a tiny card holder instead. But if I'm out further away than locally, or for longer than an hour or so I have to carry loads of 'stuff' - phone, gloves, extra battery thing for phone/plug, meds, scent, fold up bag if shopping, sunglasses etc. Where do you all put that kind of thing if you don't have a bag?

www.wealdhandmade.co.uk/
I linked to these recently.. dont have one but would like one!
I bought a lovely Coccinelle Alpha bag in Tobacco suede in Bologna when we were there a week before the first lockdown and have hardly been anywhere to use it since !! So really cannot justify a new bag..

Laska2Meryls · 01/10/2021 08:10

I am still using a tiny bag bought in TKMaxx for that city break! I hope to be going out more to graduate to my 'new' bag soon!

Beautiful bags @Laska2Meryls

I have truly given up on any hope of summer returning and broken out my Hush flannel PJs for tonight and my boots for today. I adore this toast jumper and also have it in the chalky grey colour. It’s a wool cotton mix so it’s soft AND warm, basically a unicorn jumper. I have to keep my eye on it though, or it ends up on DDs back for outdoor socialising. Gabi cords also from last year

herecomesthsun · 01/10/2021 11:36

It is quite sunny here today! Am going to stick to summer clothes for today at least.

I think fashion has been very toast-y for the past 18 months, long dresses, often with sleeves, loose fit, natural fabrics and comfy shoes...

faustina · 01/10/2021 12:37

such a lovely colour @ilovecherries!

Blossomtoes · 01/10/2021 12:50

Beautiful jumper ilovecherries. I remember seeing that and admiring it.

ScottishMouse · 01/10/2021 15:07

Love that jumper @ilovecherries! I tried it but neither colour worked for me sadly.
I wore my pj top today! Though I did have a jumper, a denim jacket, a scarf and a waterproof jacket over it, so it couldn’t really be seen.

ScottishMouse · 01/10/2021 15:10

Those Weald bags are lovely @Laska2Meryls. I’m sure Toast used to sell the Audrey one years ago.

billydilly · 01/10/2021 22:05

Could I ask if any of you have the mustardy pin-tucked skirt? I got the tiered poplin one and love the fullness of it; is the mustard skirt similarly swingy?

TheChattyRat · 02/10/2021 08:27

Wow lots of activity on here! I really like the jerkins, they lift an outfit and seem really versatile.

I've bookmarked those weald bags - they look lovely.

laska I saw that pinafore dress go for £90 on eBay - a loss but may be worth it if it is languishing in your wardrobe?

@Saurus72 could you please link to the John Lewis tights?

I am valiantly continuing to photograph my toast outfits so here are a few recent ones. Hoping to see everyone elses!

Laska2Meryls · 02/10/2021 08:38

Thanks chattyrat I wouldn't mind 90 but once you take onto account ebay fees you'd lose about 15 on final cost .. its so annoying that they charge fees on postage as well ! Last time I got really silly offers and ended up withdrawing it .. ) ..
Has anyone tried Toast Circle though,? Do they give you a reasonable credit? I Was thinking that id like to try that , maybe I could find something id like more that would be much better ..

Laska2Meryls · 02/10/2021 08:49

But if I cant Toast circle Will probably just accept its a sunken cost and sell.anyway..I just dont see me wearing it ..

However it's a good lesson on not buying because of how it looks on others.. It looked fab those of you , I saw wearing it and the models on the Toast video.. .. , I just kind of got sucked in with the love ... but you know, pinafores are just not my style or lifestyle ......

.. perhaps I just need to throw a few more pots !!🤣

Saurus72 · 02/10/2021 08:53

@TheChattyRat Here they are 😊 www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-partners-100-denier-opaque-cotton-rich-tights/p3241495

mizu · 02/10/2021 09:05

I've done TOAST circle a few times - now have a couple of tickets in my purse for the next one. They are a great idea and I've done some nice swaps - Cheltenham, London and York.

mizu · 02/10/2021 09:08

Laska the Notting Hill TOAST circle was the best one, 3 rails of clothes.

Laska2Meryls · 02/10/2021 09:12

Thanks Mizu .. I want an excuse for visiting the Notting hill store , have only been to the York one which was lovely but very small ....

AuldFox · 02/10/2021 09:25

I can confirm that the Notting hill Circle is by far the biggest one. The one in Mayfair is very small.

AuldFox · 02/10/2021 10:42

@Laska2Meryls

Next time I'm up in town i want to visit Notting Hill store ( have never been ) ..and am hoping that I can Toast Circle my denim A line pinafore - the one still in current stock .. I tried ebaying it but just got silly offers and its only been worn once.. ....An Expensive Mistake sadly ..
Sorry this wasn't the dress for you. Do you think any of the denim dresses from here would work?

Disclaimer: I’ve not purchased from this shop (yet!)

ilovecherries · 02/10/2021 12:51

Concrete trousers. Weird colour but I actually really like them and slate jersey shirt/jacket thinking (with thermals underneath)

TOAST fans looking forward to the Christmas velvet offerings
faustina · 02/10/2021 15:25

That colour looks very versatile Cherries

Laska - sometimes I buy something and it sits in my wardrobe for a while before I finally get the hang of it (so to speak). Maybe you could get it out every now and again while waiting for the toast circle trip in case this happens for you?

JustforToast · 02/10/2021 18:16

I’ve been mulling over the denim workwear dress and now realise that the model is wearing a mushroom in the breast pocket! I had thought it was some kind of golden scarf. Seriously?!
