Right, I am spending the evening sorting through my wardrobe as autumn (if not winter!) is definitely upon us here in Scotland. So my next question for those partial to a Toast aesthetic is this…
Recommend me a bag! I need something for daytime, that is big enough to carry a bunch of things (book, water/coffee flask, purse, glasses case, keys, phone, snacks, etc) with room to spare in case of shopping etc. It needs to be very minimalist in style.
I like the convenience and comfort of a backpack this time of year, but it can’t be one that rubs against the fabric of a coat or sweater, plus I am not keen on backpacks in summer, so maybe not a backpack.
I like simple tote bags, and ordered the Ally Capellino Natalie one recently but am thinking of sending it back as I’m not sure about the comfort of carrying a bag on one shoulder for any length of time.
Cross body works well this time of year when I have a jacket or coat on, but not in summer when I have only a thin layer on top, as I am busty.
What other options are there? I feel like I have this dilemma at least a couple of times a year, spend hours looking online, but always resort to the bag lady look of free cloth totes along with my small Kate Sheridan cross body for essentials, but I would like to invest in something to last. Any ideas?
