Want a Green Dress

Hello,

I'm hoping you wonderful mumsnettets can help me. I have just been given a date for my sons First Holy Communion. It's in 3 weeks... Yikes. My favourite colour is green and it suits me so would love a dress in that colour.

I'm 5ft 4 and a size 12,big bust so need a V neck or of the shoulder. I love wrap dresses as they suit me. Jumpsuits so long as they are made well. Skater styles or anything to busy is a no.

Please help me find something.

Isn’t it fab. That brand have really beautiful dresses and normally the do them in an emerald green as well. I’ve a few friends that have worn this brand to a weddings and they are so well made.

Personally I like the darker “forest green” colours rather than lighter green - what shade suits you best?

@Sssloou,Eh no to the second dress lol. First dress is nice but too clingy for me.

Thought a jumpsuit might be a good alternative! Nice for Christmas too?! I like those pretty dress company dresses but they are expensive for polyester.

There are some lovely dresses here. I particularly liked the NancyMack and Palava dresses.

Just a thought.
If I am invited to a special occasion I will either buy something I can wear again or I will go to one of those shops where you can hire an outfit that would be way out of my price range to buy.
In green of course :)
